Adam: Hi everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we are going to replace them windshield wipers on our 2019 Toyota Highlander. Some customers we're just complaining how these we're just streaky and little noisy. So, we're just going to go ahead and grab some of these. We've got ClearPlus wiper blades.

We've got a 20-inch one for over here, and a 26-inch over there. It's going to be a good replacement. It's hopefully just going to take care of some of those issues that they we're having.The first thing we want to do, of course, is take off our old blades. There's going to be a little tab right here. You can try to get it with your fingers or something like that.

It'll just pop up like so. And then, we can go ahead and just move this guy forward like that, just to get it out of there.Let's look at the differences here. Honestly, they kind of look the same. If you like the factory look of your Highlander's blades, these are going to be pretty close, pretty similar, just with the shape here. How it has a little lip up on top of there, that's just going to help just keep all that snow from getting all piled in there.One thing that sets this one apart is it does have a plastic coating over the whole part.

They both flex, but this one right here, the OEM one that we took off, is going to have that joint exposed. Let's just say it starts icing, and you're at work, and it ices up like so. As it goes along, it's not really going to be able to flex, so it's really not going to do what we need it to do. That's why I think the ClearPlus is definitely going to be the better bet, and just because it actually has a lot more flex to it to be honest, just by holding it in my hands here.Let's just go ahead and install it. It's really easy.

I'm going to go on the same exact way as our other ones. This little part here, the rounded portion of it, is just going to slide in there like that. Let's get it on there. Yes. It'll snap into place, and then we're pretty much done. There really isn't a whole lot we need to do. They do have replacement parts that come with it too, if something does break, so you don't have to worry about that. At the end of the day, it's just going to get that rain, and snow, and ice off of your windshield. That's really what we're looking for here.We just got our 20-inch installed on the passenger side, but it's going to be the same exact installation process for that 26-inch on our driver's side. Just go ahead and make sure that you grab the two right sizes. We do have kits on our website, so if you guys think that's easier, you can just buy it all in one go. Again, these we're the ClearPlus wiper blades on our 2019 Toyota Highlander.
