Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look, at the Scrubblade Platinum Windshield Wiper Blades, here on our, 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now guys, this can be a nice little way of going ahead, and replacing your older blades, that just quite aren't doing the job. Now, these guys are also gonna be great, if you find yourself doing a lot of excessive highway driving, running into a lot of those bugs, creating a lot of splatter on your windshield, and one of the ways of getting them off from there, while still having a secondary blade to be left in tack for that rain. So, we're always gonna have that second blade there, staying nice and pretty for ourselves. While that first one hopefully, it does a great job of cutting through all that bug guts and grime that we might be building up.

Now you will see, you have a nice little outer covering here. That's actually protecting your frame elements there on the inside. Now that frame and that curve give you really good points of contact. So that curve, gives that constant pressure across the entirety of it, while our frames are giving us good points of contact throughout our blade. Now it is gonna have a graphite code, coding on these blades as well.

So you know it's gonna be holding up well, and still having a nice glide across our windshield, creating a smooth wipe across the entirety of it. Well it's not gonna take us too much time to get them installed. Let's go ahead and take a look. To get this installed, We wanna go ahead and take ourselves a little bit of safety check. It can be nice to go ahead and get a towel, or a foam blocker to get underneath this metal arm.

If something we're to happen and this comes crashing down. We don't wanna crack our windshield, making for ourselves a costly repair, specially for just a little bit of wiper blades. So, this might be a little different at home, today here we just have our older blades here for us. We just gotta go ahead and unlatch that latch, and simply slide out our J style hook. Now of course, this may be a little different at home, just depending on what you had previously installed, but a lot of them are just gonna be a tab or a latch like that.

So go ahead and get our Scrubblade attached though. We go ahead and pop open that latch for ourselves. That's gonna expose ourselves to our already pre-included J style hook adapter, and to get this slotted in, we just simply slide it, and start pulling it, and you're gonna hear that latch. You can see maybe those two little hinges there that are keeping that in place. Then we bring our latch back in, and now all we have to do guys is repeat that simple process on the other side, and we're ready to wipe. Here we are inside the Jeep. Just gonna go ahead, and simulate a little bit of rain here with our wiper blade fluid. So as you guys can see, it's doing a pretty good job getting on there. Seeing just a slight bit of streaking being left behind, but it's just the air evaporating, of course. I think what's happening, our arm has a lot of pressure right in the middle. I was taking a look at the blade, but you're seeing those edges just being held up, just a little bit by that pressure. Now I think if we gave it time, the blade should start conforming better to our windshield here, and I think honestly if we take some time, and actually really press on those hinges, a lot of times they just take a little work to get in place. However, not the biggest fan of these little two streaks being left behind. Again though, it's not impacting my driving. If you're just a little OCD though, might start getting to you. I have a bit of a better time with a ClearPlus and Intelli Curves, and making sure they we're entirely encasing that blade. Making sure we weren't leaving any skips. So that can also be a great little pickup. If you guys we're wanting something that's for sure gonna have to be not managed with, and actually is gonna work for you on the first try. Although guys, these are gonna be great. Of course, of just getting through those bug guts that you might have on there. That double blade can be hard to beat of just having the capability of dealing with what you need on those highway drives.
