About Me:I first started at etrailer during college, as a summertime intern with the Content Department. I had such a great experience in my time as an intern, I chose to come back during several academic breaks over the next 2 years. After a brief hiatus post-pandemic, I returned to etrailer and spent some time working in our main warehouse, first as a Picker, and then in our Audit Department. Then in January of 2024, I accepted a position on our illustrious Shopping Guide Team as a Content Writer, and the rest is history! Now I get to learn about all sorts of gear, write articles and videos aplenty, and help neighbors like you find the solutions you need! The best part of my job as a writer is getting to learn something new every day, and then being able to creatively express all that new knowledge in my own voice. I’ve had a lifelong passion for learning and writing, and that–coupled with my love of the outdoors, and my growing interest in towing–has made this job such a cool experience! It also helps that I have some pretty spectacular teammates too.
When I’m not at work, I like to keep myself busy. I have about a gazillion creative hobbies, like singing (jazz, country, opera, pop, etc.), woodworking, carpentry, painting, sculpting, making jewelry, decorating, crocheting, embroidery, sewing, baking, writing songs and stories, and whatever else I have the audacity to think I can handle. If I’m not wrapped up in something creative, I love getting outside and looking for wild critters, reading books, listening to music, learning about new things, and spending time with my friends and family. I have two adorable floof-children, Penny and Pearl, who are undeniably the greatest dogs in existence and you cannot tell me otherwise (Penny can play the piano, take that Mozart). I’m also currently finishing my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies at Mizzou, and I hope to eventually pursue a Master’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology as well.

Other Stuff I've WrittenIzzy's Favorites
Coghlan's Percolator
Coghlan's Camping Coffee Percolator
I'm kind of a coffee snob, and that doesn't change when I'm out in the woods. Having a percolator like this not only gives me the LITERAL juice I need to get going, it lets me enjoy some magical fireside coffee-sipping too!
RV Bluetooth Portable Speaker
RV Bluetooth Portable Speaker
As a major melophile, I don't go anywhere without a way to enjoy my music (preferably at max volume). With this durable, water resistant Bluetooth speaker, I don't have to sacrifice my tunes when I'm out on the trail, at the creek, or chilling at my campsite!
etrailer Trailer Wheel Lock
etrailer Trailer Wheel Lock
When I'm camping, nothing scares me like the thought that my vehicle or camper might get plundered if I decide to venture away from home base. With a wheel lock like this, I feel way more secure leaving my belongings while I'm off adventuring.
Stromberg Carlson Campfire Grill
Stromberg Carlson Campfire Grill
I loooove me some tasty campfire cooking, so this stake-in grill is a no brainer. I'm also not super patient when it comes to food, and I hate having to wait for coals to cook over a fire. With this grill, I can perch my pans above the open flame instead, and be chowing down in no time.
Everchill Electric Cooler
Everchill Electric Cooler
As we've already established, I REALLY like food, especially desserts and frozen treats. I can think of few things better than sitting next to a campfire with my friends, having some laughs, and eating an entire pint of Ben and Jerry's. Without an electric cooler/freezer in my life, that glorious dream would just be a fantasy.

AirBedz XUV Air Mattress
Camping in a tent or hammock (my usual methods) can be great, but sometimes I just want the security of some walls and a door that locks. Car camping is always a great option, and with a nice thick air mattress like this one, I'm snoozing in no time!
