Streaky wipes and worn-out rubber blades make bad weather even harder to drive through. This silicone wiper delivers smooth, consistent wiping with a ceramic-coated design that stays flexible in extreme heat and freezing temperatures.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Scrubblade 19-inch-long, Hybrid Style ShadeBlade Windshield Wiper Blade in the red color, and this for a quantity of one blade. Now to purchase the correct wiper blades on your vehicle, what you're gonna need is the length of the wiper blade and how it attaches to your wiper arm To get the correct length, you can look in your vehicle's owner's manual, or you can actually measure the blade on the vehicle. Measure it, just get a tape measure. Measure the blade from one end to the other.
On this one, if you go one end to the other, it's gonna be 19 inches long. Now, you can also use our fit guide on our website. You can pull up your year and model of vehicle, and it'll also show you the correct wiper size you need for your vehicle. You do wanna remember that many vehicles will now use different lengths for the driver's side, passenger side, and the rear window. So, once you know the size, then all you need to do is determine how it connects to your wiper arm.
And there's many different types of connectors. What you'll need to do is match the type of connector that's on your vehicle to the blade with the same. And most wiper kits like this one here, you can see, will come with a selection of different adapters to fit many vehicles. So, you just have to choose the correct adapter for your vehicle, attach it to the blade, and then attach it to the vehicle. It is a very quick, easy installation on most arms 'cause most of the vehicles use either a J-hook, a side pin, or a bayonet-style connector.
The wiper itself is an all-weather, hybrid-style wiper from Scrubblade. It has dual blades to provide crystal-clear visibility. And just to show you the dual blades, I'm gonna zoom in even further, and you'll see there's your two blades. The outer blade will scrub away mud bugs and road grime, and the inner blade's gonna clear any remaining water and debris for superior visibility. Also, if you look real close, you'll be able to see the raised triangular bumps right there on the blades.
These are patented scrubbers. They're on the outside of each blade. You can see 'em here. If I flip it over, you'll see it on the outside here. And what those scrubbers will do is they'll cut through a lot of the tough road grime to help clear your windshield. The blades themselves, they are a silicone-style blade. It has a ceramic coating on 'em to ensure quiet, chatter-free operation. They'll hold up to heat and UV rays. The frame on the blade is a rubber-covered frame, has a nice, low-profile blade, prevents wind lift. And the center attachment point right here ensures an even pressure distribution for optimal performance. We mentioned the color on this is rad. They actually describe it as a rad red. It is also available in black, white, and blue, which we do sell separate on our website. Again, the length, 19 inches long. It is for a quantity of one wiper blade. And if you do have any other additional questions regarding this part or any other item we carry, please feel free to reach out to us, so we can help you get all of your questions answered for you. But that's gonna do it for our look at the Scrubblade, 19-inch-long, Hybrid Style ShadeBlade Windshield Wiper Blade.

Hey Daron. I'm going to have to try these! I need to replace mine and was looking for something that would help with the grime we get here in Missouri.

That film could be from a rain repellent on your windshield, but I have confirmed that Scrubblade does not coat their wipers with Rain-X coating. They said that if it is raining, you should use wiper fluid to minimize noise. In a heavy rain, squeaking her and there is normal for any blade; but it should not be constant and loud with each swipe. If you would like to try rotating the wiper 180 degrees when issues like this occur, that can help fix the pressure points and allow the blade to make better contact. All you have to do is rotate the adapter located in the middle of the blade itself. There are two pinch tabs underneath the blade in the middle. Pinch these together and pull up on the adapter and it will come off. Rotate the adapter 180 degrees and reinstall the wiper as you did before.
