Streaky wipes and worn-out rubber blades make bad weather even harder to drive through. This silicone wiper delivers smooth, consistent wiping with a ceramic-coated design that stays flexible in extreme heat and freezing temperatures.

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at the Scrubblade 14 inch long hybrid style ShadeBlade windshield wiper blade. This one is in the white color, and it is for a quantity of one blade. Now to purchase the correct wiper blades for your vehicle, what you're gonna need is the length of the wiper blade and how it attaches to your wiper arm. To get the correct length, you can look in your vehicle's owner's manual, or you could actually measure the blade on your vehicle. To measure it, just get a tape measure, and then measure from one end to the other.
On this one, it's gonna measure 14 inches long. Now you could also use our fit guide on our website. Just pull up your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you the correct wiper size you need for your vehicle. Now you do wanna make sure to remember that many vehicles will use a different length for the driver's side and the passenger side and even for the rear window. So once you know the size, then all you need to do is determine how it connects to your wiper arm.
And there's many different types of connectors for that. You'll need to match the type of connector that's on your vehicle to the blade with the same connector. And most wiper kits like this one you can see will come with a selection of different adapters to fit many vehicles. So you just have to choose the correct adapter, attach it to the blade, and then attach it to your vehicle. It is a quick, easy installation on most arms 'cause they use a standard J hook side pin or bayonet style connectors.
Now this is an all weather hybrid style wiper from ScrubBlade. It uses dual blades to provide crystal clear visibility. Did wanna zoom in even a little bit closer to show you. You can see there's your dual blades, the outer blade scrubs away mud, bugs, road grime, and the inner blade is gonna clear any remaining water and debris for superior visibility. Now if you look close, it might be hard to see because it's white, but on the outer edge of each blade there is a raised area, a little has little triangular bumps to it.
Those are patented scrubbers that are on the outside of each blade, and that's to cut through any tough grime that is on your windshield. Now the blade itself is a silicone blade, and it does use a ceramic coating on it to ensure a nice quiet chatter free operation. Does hold up to heat and UV rays, and they do use a rubber cover frame on this. Has a nice low profile blade and prevent wind lift. Does use a center attachment, and this center attachment point will ensure even pressure distribution for optimal performance. We mentioned the color of the blade on this is white. They call it a wild white. It is also available in black, blue, and red, which we do sell separately on our website. The length, again is 14 inches. Quantity is one wiper blade. Now if you do have any other additional questions regarding this part or any other item we carry, please feel free to reach out to us, so we can help you get all of your questions answered for you. But that's gonna do it for a look at the ScrubBlade 14 inch long hybrid style shadeblade windshield wiper blade.

Hey Daron. I'm going to have to try these! I need to replace mine and was looking for something that would help with the grime we get here in Missouri.

That film could be from a rain repellent on your windshield, but I have confirmed that Scrubblade does not coat their wipers with Rain-X coating. They said that if it is raining, you should use wiper fluid to minimize noise. In a heavy rain, squeaking her and there is normal for any blade; but it should not be constant and loud with each swipe. If you would like to try rotating the wiper 180 degrees when issues like this occur, that can help fix the pressure points and allow the blade to make better contact. All you have to do is rotate the adapter located in the middle of the blade itself. There are two pinch tabs underneath the blade in the middle. Pinch these together and pull up on the adapter and it will come off. Rotate the adapter 180 degrees and reinstall the wiper as you did before.
