Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the ClearPlus line of integrated rear wiper blades.Rear wiper blades are often overlooked. This one here is all worn out. As you can see, it doesn't have a clean swipe. When we try and clean it off, it just streaks up and makes things worse.As you can see here with our new blade installed, it's a nice streak-free finish. As you can see her looking out the back windshield when you turn around or through your rear view mirror, we can see everything clearly behind us.This blade can be used to replace your old, worn-out wiper blade. Old blades get all brittle on the end.
As you can see here this one's still got its nice, smooth rubber texture that's flexible. That way it will form to your window and wipe off any moisture and dirt.It has a textured, matte black plastic look so it will look just like your factory blade. It has multiple pivoting points with three areas that will form to your window. This will be a much easier solution than getting a refill.When you get a refill you keep your old, worn-out blade that may not quite form to the window right. You have to fiddle with the ends to get the rubber to slide out and slide the new one in, without damaging the metal strip inside that keeps it straight.Now if you notice on most SUVs and other type of vehicles with a hatchback windshield that doesn't have much curve, the water doesn't just run off the windshield like it does on the front windshield or on vehicles that have a tilted back windshield.The air on those vehicles will go over the top and go off the back, pushing the water right down, whereas in the more horizontal windshields there will be base drag at the top of the windshield that will cause the air to curl and not push the rain off your windshield.Replacing your blade can be important, so that way you can see out the back.
This is good for when making lane change maneuvers on the highway or when you're backing up so you can see and not run into anything.These come in 12 inch, 14 inch, 16 inch, and a variety of shapes so it will fit your vehicle. Refer to etrailer.com to find the exact fit for your vehicle. Now to get your old blade off, you'll see here you can't lift it up enough to get the blade off.You'll need to remove the cover by pulling outward on the bottom of the tabs and lifting it up. Some flip up, some come completely off. This will allow you to get your blade to fully retract outward.
Then pull outward on the bottom of the blade and slide it off.To install your new blade, you'll take the loop opening on the end of your arm and hook it onto the crossbeam in the middle of your blade. Take the bottom and pivot inward until it snaps into place. Lower your arm, and replace your cover.That completes our look at the ClearPlus line of integrated rear wiper blades.

Item was as described. Slow at delivering “in stock” item claiming they were waiting on the manufacturer. Upon calling a few times I received different answers on when the item would ship. I will say it was for 1988 vehicle and nobody else was offering it. They did answer the phone when I called and a supervisor followed up promptly with another phone call when I requested it. Faster shipping time would result in an excellent rating. I think they are actually trying hard to satisfy customers. I will buy from them again.

We needed wiper blades for our new to us 1989 Wanderlodge. They couldn't be found anywhere around here! etrailer had not only them they got them to us quickly. They fit perfectly and appear to be a quality item. We haven't had any rain yet so I can't review that . I can tell you that they worked perfectly on our bus.
