Hello etrailer neighbors. I'm Steven. Today we're looking at our Scrubblade Shade Blade, a windshield wiper hybrid style 21-inch wiper blade. Now folks, again, this is an all-weather hybrid style wiper. It does have dual blades, and that's gonna help provide crystal clear visibility on the windshield, and it, again, has two blades, so the outer blade on this guy, it's basically gonna scrub away mud, bugs, that kind of stuff, road grime, but that inner blade back there, it's gonna clear away any remaining water, debris, that kind of stuff. Now it does have what's called patented scrubbers on the outside of each blade, so you can kind of see these triangular raised portions there on the blade.

Those are going to cut through the tough road grime, the bugs, the mud, that kind of stuff, and they're gonna give you a nice clean windshield. Now again, folks, these are silicone blades, so they're not rubber like your traditional blades. They're silicone. They have a nice ceramic coating on them that ensures a quiet, chatter-free operation. They hold up to heat way better than your normal blades, and UV rays, and that kind of stuff.

Now the frame itself is also rubber covered. Now that's gonna help give you, or prevent, rather, lift and stuff, so lift come off the windshield when you're rolling down the road, that kind of stuff, that'll prevent that. As you can see, these are pretty flexible, so they will fit the contour of any windshield out there. And as far as attaching them, they have a center point here. You can lift up this tab and then put your, or mount this blade onto your wiper arm on your vehicle.

Or if you need to, there's four different options of connection points that you could click on here, and then fit your arm on your vehicle. Make sure you're reading the instructions to get the right parts on your correct arm style. Now, one thing to note, we've had some reviews over the past years with these possibly squeaking and stuff. If, for some reason, you get a lot of squeaking, number one, try cleaning the windshield. Make sure that that's not the issue.

If that doesn't help, you can also take this and rotate it. You would have to take out the centerpiece and rotate that around as well. But that would possibly take care of any kind of squeaking or anything like that too. Again, not a common thing, but I wanted to mention it since we've had it in a couple reviews over the years.
