Mount the bracket to vehicle and mount the wiring harness connector to the bracket

Today we're going to review part number PK11926. This is the Pollak Installation Hardware for the Pollak 7-way Mounting Bracket. This is the bracket that we've been talking about that the hardware is used on. Basically this bracket is used to mount a 7-way on the back of your vehicle. What you would do is this is what your Pollak 7-way would look like. This hardware includes 2 self-tapping screws right here. Basically that would be used to mount this bracket to your vehicle.
Then the 4 mounting screws and the 4 nuts is what would be used to mount the 7-way to the bracket itself. Now the bracket that this hardware is used for is sold separately on our website. It's part number PK12711U. You could also buy the bracket with the hardware. We sell that separately. It's part number PK12711U-26. This product is just the hardware that's used for that bracket.

Yes, you could use your own hardware, but in my opinion, this kit was worth the money.
Not scrounging around for the right size hardware having bought this. The built-in lock washers are a good touch.
I ordered the prodigy 2 controller, the wireing harness, hardware kit and mounting bracket. quick shipping and instalation was super easy with the how to video. I installed the whole kit in under an hour and towed 1650mi right off. Just as described and the kit worked flawless! literally plug and play. I can't say enough good about it.
I had very little room between my spare tire and the socket. It's probably listed somewhere but I couldn't find it for the two I was looking at. I made an online inquiry and Michael H. got right back to me with all the dimensions and clearances needed, which convinced me to go with the HM48470. Ordered it, some wire and a receiver lock, which arrived today. Will wait for the snow to melt before I crawl under there to install them. Thanks again for the great service!
Wonderful for the most part. Both the heads broke of the self tapping screws, but it was my fault, not the screws.

Product was complete and easy to install. Recommend purchasing the backing plate as it works well to reinforce the bumper. Saved $200 from what dealership estimated for the parts and installation. You definitely can do this yourself !
Overall good mounting hardware. The silver mounting screws felt a little to light duty for my taste though.
The machine screws and nuts were great, the self tapping screws where inadequate for the install. I rung one off and wound up having to drill and tap and using more appropriate screws.
Good product for needed to attach harness plug to bracket
They are screws and nuts. Not much to go wrong here. I would have appreciated having a couple of spare self-tapping screws. It wasn't the screw's fault I went too far past tight on both of them. Lucky for me I had some extras in the garage.

Not much to say about the hardware. All I needed to mount the plug with good quality hardware. Black color match is a plus.
The screws break right away,, recomend machine bolts and blind
sleeve anchors.
