Now, this bulb will help you improve visibility and add some style to your vehicle with this high quality halogen bulb. Now, when you do receive this bulb you do want to make sure that when you do handle it, that you don't use your fingers or hands to touch the actually glass portion, because what will happen is the oil residue that's on your fingers, if it gets on that bulb as soon as the bulb is turned on it could cause that bulb to blow out, so you don't want to touch it.Now, if you do wear gloves you can handle it that way, but if it's just your bare hands you do want to make sure to handle it not touching the glass. Now, this is a bright white light that'll offer a subtle blue tint to set your vehicle apart from others. It is designed with high color temperature to improve visibility and driver awareness, and this does combine quality construction with the most advanced technology for a superior product. This bulb does meet the DOT, department of transportation's classifications.
This is for a quantity of one bulb. Again, the bulb type is 886. The wattage, which is stamped on the bottom, is 50 watts at 12 volts per bolt. Color temperature is 3800 Kelvin and what I'm gonna do is hook this up to some 12 volt power, just to show you how bright it is and see the blue tint on it.So, we'll go ahead and take our power supply, and I'm first gonna leave the lights on just to show you what it's like with the lights on, then we'll go ahead and turn off the overhead light. Oops, go ahead and put this back up.
Hard to get to the connector. That one, and then we'll go ahead and . there you go. Now you can see it with the lights on, and if I go ahead and turn off the overhead light, you can see how bright it is and the blue tint to it. It's making a bad connection there.
We'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead light, and we'll disconnect it, but that should do it for the review on the Putco Ion Spark White pure high performance 886 halogen headlight bulb.
