Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 3,000 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 1,995 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 1,550 lumens.

Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a look at the replacement LED bulbs plus anti-flicker harness for your fog lights. So these are going to be a PSX 26 W style bulb and basically that just means that it can plug right in line with our wirings. We don't have to do any kind of cutting or splicing to get these guys installed and also your vehicle should be equipped with CAN bus or PWM, so that means that you will need the anti-flicker harness that comes with it. If you're not sure what your vehicle has the easiest way to figure that out is to use our fit guide here at etrailer.com put in your year, make, and model of your vehicle, and then go from there to find the vehicle lights, if you haven't already done. So these guys are going to be a great replacement from our OEM lights.Let's take a closer look at what comes with our kit. We're going to get two bulbs, one for either side, and then our two harnesses to go with those.
You can see there's going to be a grommet on those to plug up the hole going into the housing for the lights. Also, comes with a couple small zip ties and some double-sided foam tape. That's to help us mount the box that's on the harnesses since it's a little bit heavier, so it gives us an easy place to put that so it's not just rattling around. We also get instructions and a sticker for our light bulbs. And basically the nice thing about these lights is that they are going to be precision optic designed so that's going to help throw the light farther. They also have a heat management system here, so that's an aluminum housing with a lot of fins to help dissipate the heat.
So it doesn't get a buildup of heat and then cause any kind of premature failure with the lights. The bulbs put out a nice, cool white color so that helps to promote better visibility. It's just a better light spectrum for our eyes to see more clearly, I'm going to hook these up so you can actually see that for yourself. Turn this on. Our light comes on nice and bright.
Even when I turn out the lights in the studio is still going to be a very nice, bright light. We can go over some of the more detailed specs. It is IP 67 rated. So that means it's going to be weatherproof and dustproof so no worries about any water or dust getting in there and causing any issues. The light output per bulb is 3000 lumens. The effective lumen output is 1,995 or just under 2000 lumens and that's more the number to pay attention to since that's more the real-world application for the lights.
The raw lumen output is kind of what it has the potential of putting out if everything was perfect, but nothing's ever perfect. The low lumen output does drop down after about 30 minutes of straight usage down to 1,550 lumens. Still going to be a nice bright light for us, regardless.Color temperature, again, 6,500 Kelvin, which is that cool white spectrum of light. The wattage is 16.5 Watts per bulb. The power draw at 13 volts is 1.3 amps per bulb operating voltage is between 7.5 volts and 16 volts. And it does have a two year limited warranty. That's about all there is to it for our look at the replacement bulbs and anti-flicker harness kit. I hope the city has been helpful again, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com thanks for watching.

Get a focused and controlled beam with no glare from with these PSX26W LED fog light bulbs. Concept series features built-in LED drivers with advanced temperature regulation. Plug-and-play installation. These worked fine in my 2022 Colorado. No brighter than the factory lights but the "right" color. Didn't need the anti-flicker harness though.
I've had the opportunity to use these LED's for about a month now and I can say they have worked great. They are exceptionally brighter than the OEM halogen bulbs with a slight blueish tint. I have tried other cheap LED's that flickered or pulsed and threw the light out everywhere, blinding oncoming traffic. These LED's have a very define cut-off line and concentrate the light appropriately. These are plug-and-play so it easy to install these in my quad headlights. I have a stock height truck so I didn't need to re-aim my headlights once I was done. I would suggest these as an upgrade from stock lights. Thanks etrailer!
They are great. Anything better than stock lights. All the lights on my truck are LEDs now.
They worked well, as anticipated and hoped for.
all good
