Video Transcript for Double Trim Ring for Ultratek Directional Light Spec Review

Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at our Double Trim Ring for the Ultratek Directional Light, and this trim ring is just gonna go ahead and cover the exposed mounting holes and screws on your Ultratek Directional Light. So to give you guys a closer look here, I have that guy right here with me. You guys can see naturally, we have our holes just sticking out right here, and of course, that's gonna go ahead and allow us to mount that on there. However, they can go ahead and just kinda look a little unsightly inside our RV, so this is gonna go ahead and give us a nice little cover just to go ahead and ease that for our eyes, of course. Just snap it on, it takes no time at all, as they might suggest with that snap-on feature, we just simply wanna place it in, and just click it like that, and we're already nicely installed. Really doesn't take much, especially just to get this mounted, it's gonna be nice when you actually get this drilled in, and we just simply place the cover on it, gets it nice and secure.

So the plastic is gonna be very durable, and it's gonna continue to cover our light from the many seasons ahead, and just to ease any kind of concerns, of course, then go ahead and change all of these directions for my light, which is awesome for ourselves. So one thing to keep in mind when you're mounting this, of course, it is gonna be a recessed lights, so you're gonna have to cut out exactly what you need for your dimensions, and this is gonna change our dimensions just a little bit, setting about an eighth to either side of our edges here. So let's go ahead and give those rough measurements to ourselves. For our overall length here, we are gonna be looking at 6 1/8 of an inch for our overall length now. Well, our height is gonna be putting us at 3 5/8 of an inch for ourselves.

Now, our width is gonna be changing as well, just a little bit, and that is gonna be putting you at an inch and a half there for ourselves, guys. So not gonna be adding too much length, of course, if you're comparing this to without the snap trim. However, nice that we're gonna go ahead and get that nicely covered for ourselves.
