Since it mounts inside the bed rails, you keep full access to stake pockets, tie-downs, and other accessories while getting complete bed space for gear or equipment.
A bulky cover can ruin the smooth lines of your truck and add drag on the highway. The Pro X15 sits just 1/2" above the bed rails, giving it a flush, factory-style look that blends right in. The angled side rails and automatic tension control keep the fabric tight in all weather and reduce wind drag, which can help improve gas mileage. Spring-loaded plungers at the tailgate maintain constant tension so the cover stays sharp and wrinkle-free through heat or cold.
Rain, dust, and UV rays can wear down a lesser cover fast. The Pro X15 uses woven polyester fabric with a vinyl coating that stands up to extreme temperatures, fading, and grime. The matte black finish resists dirt so it stays looking cleaner between washes. Installing this cover doesn’t mean breaking out power tools or drilling holes. The clamp-on side rails mount inside the bed using a self-leveling design that squares everything automatically as you tighten them down. Hook-and-loop fasteners along the rails let you easily roll and unroll the cover by hand, while a single Quick Latch at the tailgate makes opening simple from either side. I have contacted the manufacturer and they said that these kinds of problems stem from having the cover installed too far back. You will need to install the cover closer to the cab, and have it compressed 50 by the cabin. They said that your situation can also be resolved by making sure that the tailgate is closed during installation. This will help make sure that the rail is even and not too far back.
