Some covers block access when you need to haul something big. This one folds up toward the cab so you can use the full bed without removing it. When open, latches secure it at a 90-degree angle for highway driving, so you can load large tools or gear without worrying about the cover bouncing around. It even leaves your stake pockets open so you can still mount racks or tie-downs.

The cover is built with extruded aluminum panels that can handle up to 400 lbs and stand up to hail or other impacts. The black urethane coating resists scratches and keeps its clean look even after years of use. When closed, the latches lock with your tailgate, so your gear stays secure and dry wherever you go.
You don’t need complicated hoses or fittings to keep the weather out. Built-in weather seals block rain and dust from getting into the bed, keeping your cargo dry through storms and car washes. The seal design also helps the cover stay flush with the rails for a tight, finished appearance.
Installing it is straightforward—no drilling required. The clamp-on system lines up with your bed rails and tightens down with simple hand tools. Once mounted, the low-profile design sits less than 1/2" above the rails, giving the truck a clean, factory look without bulky edges.

Hello, neighbor. This is Curt with etrailer and today, we're gonna take a look at the Lomax Stance Hard Tonneau cover. Now, if you've had any experience with this tonneau cover or have questions about it, go ahead and leave those in the comments below. We love to take those and use them to help our other neighbors make the best decision for themselves. Now, if you have a truck that you're using quite a bit and you really want to be able to protect any of your gear or cargo in the back, a hard tonneau cover is a really good way to go. It's going to be a great anti-theft measure, especially as opposed to a soft tonneau cover, which while it'll protect from the elements, can be slashed open with a knife and somebody could get in and take your stuff outta the back if they really wanted to.
A hard tonneau cover like this is gonna eliminate that. It's made of aluminum. It's got a nice diamond pattern on the top. It really gives it a nice look, especially on a truck like this and it is gonna have a capacity on the top of around 400 pounds. Now, it is also a tri-fold cover and we'll show ya how that works and it also has the ability to fold completely open and anchor to points that we have installed up here on the roof.
So, before I get into the tailgate and show ya how it operates, I also wanted to point out that it is ladder rack compatible. It's gonna sit above your bed rails and it is gonna be outta the way enough that these stake pockets are gonna be accessible. Now, as we drop our tailgate here, we're gonna find a latch on the side right here. It's gonna drop this string down. We're gonna be able to pull that and remove our first section.
The second section has no latch. We'll be able to lift that right outta place. And this is generally what you're gonna do for bed access. This'll be enough to reach, ya know, your fifth wheel or anything like that if ya have one and give you a really good amount of space to get most of your stuff in and outta the vehicle. However, there are gonna be times where you're gonna need use of the entire bed.
And for that, we're gonna go ahead and put it in its complete upright position. It's easiest to do it from the bed. First, we're gonna go ahead and unlatch using the string right here. We'll pull that down, unlatch it, bring it into an upright position and once we're here, there are these little braces here that we could put down on this installed piece that we have here and what that's gonna do is keep it in an upright position while also not letting it rest against the back of the cab and the light that we have back there. So, once I have that deployed, while it's not recommended to drive in this position, if you needed full bed access, this would be the way to get it done. So, as we're gonna lower this back down, we're just gonna drop it into place. We'll make sure it latches completely on both sides, unfold the next section and as I'm unfolding, you notice that the entire tonneau cover is gonna be lined with this rubber seal. That's gonna do a great job of keeping out the elements and keeping your cargo dry. So now that we're gonna be here at the final section, all you're gonna need to do is get it dropped right down into place. (cover clicks) Make sure it latches here on both sides. And close our tailgate. It's really just that simple. This is an excellent choice for any truck. If you really are serious about protecting your cargo and keeping it outta the elements and keeping it safe from any of the uh, worse elements of society, criminals and thieves and such. So again, this is a really good choice for you and your truck. I'm Curt with etrailer. Thanks for stopping by.

perfect fit
Great Top
Really easy to install and so far the quality looks great!
It fit perfectly and was easy to install on 2021 F150. The existing bed liner did not get in the way.
The Tonneau arrived packaged well and delivered in a fairly timely manner. Its really easy to install, took me about 30 minutes. Seems really well made and I am really happy with Lomax's quality. It weights in total about 75 pounds but once the rails are installed on the bed, the cover is surprisingly easy to take on and off if you need to fully remove it.
Great customer service and seems to be a great product.
Easy to install (even an old girl can do it). Eas a bit confused on the rail height positions but found a YouTube video showing the proper height (not too low). So happy how fast it arrived and the cust service from etrailer helping me get the right one!
Install wasn't too bad. It has kept everything in the bed completely dry! Very pleased with it. Easy to remove when needed and just as easy re-install. If I ever need another one, I would order it again without reservation
I have put this Tonneau Cover on my last 3 new trucks and I haven't had any issues with them at all. I think they seal really good to keep water and dirt out.
The Lomax Cover looks great on my 2021 F-150 truck. I really trust the Lomax name brand for durability and cost. I was able to install the cover in about an hour.
I was unable to install the Lomax Hard Tonneau Cover myself but after having it installed professionally, it has been perfect--hardly any leakage and looks great. Highly recommended.
Very happy with Lomax folding aluminum tonneau cover. I recommend Lomax brand when people ask about the cover.
It fit well and your help was greatly a ppreciated
Bought the Lomax cover to replace a 3 year old soft folding cover that the vinyl was degraded poorly. I also have a Roll N Lock cover on a different pickup, so my comparison takes that in mind, too. The Lomax is a sleeper value. If you can tolerate the mounting rails intruding slightly into the bed, they are good, solid mounts. The latches are simple and secure. For a Ford Ranger, it's easy for a single person to install and remove the folding panels completely from the bed with no tools. I believe this is one of the better products on the market.
Installed on a Rivian R1T. The cover itself looks pretty good, nice and flat. The rear squared-off corners and flat edge look a little janky compared to the curved rear edge of the R1T. Functionally I like the way the cover self-locks in two middle locations as you unfold it; the corded lock and release at the tailgate is also very easy to use. Rail installation was painful. The shim piece is supposed to fit between the plastic bed cap and the plastic bed liner and in several places there just wasn't room to force it in. This is more of a knock on the Rivian truck build than this cover but be aware there could be some frustration there. Total vertical clearance between the top of the bed ridges and the bottom of the cover's support rails is about 17 1/2 inches.
