Some covers stick up so high they ruin the clean lines of your truck. The Lorado sits only 1" above the bed and angles down toward the tailgate with the Access Slantback design. That gives it a sleek, finished look while also helping air flow smoothly over the bed, reducing drag and improving gas mileage by up to 10 percent.
Rain, sun, or snow — this cover holds up through it all. The double-coated, reinforced vinyl is UV-blocking, flexible down to -40°F, and won’t shrink or fade. An Element weather seal behind the cab and a reinforced vinyl flap at the tailgate keep out dirt, rain, and road grime, so your gear stays dry and clean all year.
When you need to haul something tall, just roll the Lorado up. The Velcro side seals peel back fast, and the cover stores neatly behind the cab using premium straps and clips. The AutoLatch II system automatically locks both sides when closed, and a simple pull-cord lets you open it with one hand. You can still use the tailgate normally or add a tailgate lock for extra security.

Getting the right fit doesn’t take tools or guesswork. The XT-Dial adjuster at the front lets you fine-tune tension with a quick turn to keep the vinyl tight in any weather. Aircraft-grade aluminum rails mount inside the bed using Tight Bite clamps that grip firmly without drilling, leaving stake pockets open for racks or tie-down accessories.

Under the vinyl, black powder-coated aluminum bows and rails provide strength without adding bulk. The contoured construction resists rust and supports the cover evenly while making it easy to roll up. It’s a setup that stays solid, looks clean, and performs smoothly for years of everyday use.

Today we're going to be taking a look at as well as installing the Access Lorado Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover. Part number 834532006380. Now we'll be installing the Access Lorado Tonneau Cover today on our Chevrolet pick-up truck. All the Access Lorado Tonneau Covers will install in a similar fashion even though they may have a different part number for your particular vehicle. Now let's go ahead and go over some of the features of our Access Tonneau Cover. As you can see here, has a drum type finish so it's nice and tight, it's not going to be flapping around in the wind as you're going down the road. Go ahead and open up our tailgate here.
Has a simple one latch release mechanism. Gently rock up and the rear of the Tonneau Cover will release. If I gently pull on the strap, it pulls each of the side buckles in and this little buckle here is what hooks underneath the edge of your side rail keeping it in place. Each of the side rails have a strip of hook and loop, half of it sewn in to the top of the Tonneau Cover. The other half is attached to each of the side rails, this is what helps keep the Tonneau Cover nice and tight on each of the sides. Now we'll go ahead and take our Tonneau Cover and we'll roll it up. You'll notice that there's these bars that are built into the Tonneau Cover that helps give its strength and rigidity, there's one here, there's one up here as well as one a little farther forward as well. With our Tonneau Cover raised up.
You'll see we have an adjustment knob right here as well as one over on the other side. Now over time, you may need to adjust these knobs as the Tonneau Cover ages or stretches out a little bit. As you turn them, I'll tighten up the tension on it or can loosen it if it's a little too tight. That way your Tonneau Cover will fit properly and nice and tight on your vehicle. See that we have a buckle here as well as over here. Now on the under side, we have a strap that comes around when it's rolled up, clips together, keeping the Tonneau Cover nice and tight.
It is adjustable so that you can adjust it to the setting you need to hold your Tonneau Cover nice and tight and you have it rolled up in this position. Now this Tonneau Cover has a low profile design where it sits only about one inch above the truck box when closed. It does have an aerodynamic design to the cover which helps reduce wind drag and improves gas mileage. This Tonneau Cover does come with a limited lifetime warranty. Now that we've gone over some of the features of our Access Lorado Soft Tonneau Cover. Now let's go ahead and show you how it installs. We're going to begin here by taking our driver side rail, the rail is marked.
You'll notice we have a hook and loop strip on the outside as well as a soft material already attached to our rail. This little hook or clamp piece back here, this is what marks that it is the rear of the rail. We'll go ahead and hold it up here into position. You want to make sure that the rail on the edge here is level with the top edge of the bed. Now you can either get an extra set of hands or you can get a set of spring clamps like this to hold your rail in place as you're getting things clamped down. We're just going to use a couple spring clamps here to help keep the rail on the proper position. Here's what the little clamp looks like that we use to attach our rail to the side of the bed. It'll either come with six clamps or eight clamps depending on your bed length. Go ahead and open up the clamp. You'll notice that there's little grooves built in through the under side of the rail here. This is what the teeth on this will grab into. Now for the first or the farthest forward, we want to come up as far forward as possible for it to allow you to still go underneath the edge of the bed and still catch the rail of the Tonneau Cover. With our clamp in position, go ahead and snug it down. Next we'll move to the middle of the rail, we'll add our second clamp in there. We'll put our third clamp as far back as it'll allow us to. In this truck you'll see how there's a stake pocket built in so we're going to have to skew it up to about right here, put this rear clamp right in this section here. Go ahead and tighten it down. Now this particular kit for this vehicle does come with a total of eight clamps here. We're going to go ahead and add the fourth clamp in between the second and the third clamps. Now that we have the driver side rail installed, we'll go ahead and repeat the same process over here on the passenger side. Next we're going to go ahead and take the alcohol wipe and clean this front rail of our bed. We'll then need to install this rubber seal. We'll go ahead and peel back the red backing here on our two-sided tape. We'll then need to align the seal with the edge here of our side rail and this edge here of the bed and peel back the tape as work the seal across the front of the bed. You will notice that our weatherstripping is a little bit too long so we're just going to measure out where we need to cut it, go ahead and take a razor knife and trim it down the length. Now with our weatherstripping cut to length, we can go ahead and finish the peeling off backing and push it down firmly in place. Next we're going to need to attach the adjusted to the slide nut here in the front rail of the Tonneau Cover. We're going to be using an inch and a quarter long bolt, the flat washer, so it's the longer of the two bolts that come with the kit. Go ahead and just put it on there hand tight for now. We'll go ahead then over to the passenger side, where we'll repeat the same process. Next we'll go ahead and take our Tonneau Cover, bring it up here to the front of the cap. We'll then need to fold the bar down at the top down making sure that these straps go inside, as well as these little flap here on the Tonneau Cover gets tucked underneath. Go ahead and skew it forward a little. Now that we have the front of the Tonneau Cover setup properly. Next we're going to need to attach these brackets here. Now we left this bold here loose earlier and that's so that when it slides back over, it goes underneath that side rail here. I'll bend this one out of the way so it goes like that. We'll also be lining up the hole that's in the plastic piece here with the hole on the top of the rail. Once we have the hole lined up, go ahead and take our shorter of the two bolts supplied with the kit. Put it in place, we'll then put a flat washer and a hex nut underneath. Now in our particular application, there's not much room for movement either way so we're pretty well centered with it just how it's sitting now. For some reason this bar would be more to one side or the other, you would want to adjust it at this time, making it be an equal distance from the end of the bar and the side rail on both sides. Once we've checked that, now we can go ahead and tighten down the hardware. Now that we have our hardware tightened down, now we're ready to roll out Tonneau Cover out. You'll notice as we're rolling it out, the bar drops into the track or into the rail I should say on each side. When you get to the very end just hook in. You can then go ahead and close our tailgate, we'll need to go along each of the sides and push down on the hook and loop to secure the sides of the Tonneau Cover. That'll do it for our quick look and installation of the Access Lorado Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover. Part number 834532006380. .

This is the 3rd Access cover I have purchased. I feel that the ability to roll it all the way up to the window is the best option, still allowing me full bed access. The sun does its part to beat it up, but regular maintenance keeps it looking good.
great service, easy to order and had big heavy parts and everything shipped free! shipping was very quick. I have already started recommending etrailer.com to others
Directions addendum for Honda Ridgeline are not clear and comprehensive.
This is the second truck cover that I've purchased and I am very happy. Both me trucks have great bed covers!
Love my tonneau cover. This is the second truck I have purchased one of these for--I liked the first one so much I purchased another. It keeps thing in the bed dry, but is easy to roll up when I haul taller items. I highly recommend it!
Not quite what I wantedThe ordering process from etrailer was flawless as usual, but the cover wasn't exactly what I wanted.
The quality of the product is nice and the installation wasn't difficult at all, I was able to do it with the 'help' of my 3 year old son.
But I ordered a soft cover because I wanted to retain as much of the use of the bed as possible, but the cover rails install inside the bed rails and are about 3 inches wide. The instructions say not to lean anything against the rolled up cover or the rails :(
I think I'll have to take the rails off the first time I get a load of gravel so they don't get damaged.
This is my first cover so I don't know if this is typical.
I ordered a Tonneau Cover for my new truck. It was shipped directly from the manufacturer and arrived in a few days. The box was damaged resulting in some parts be lost. Jenny B. of etrailer was a tremendous help and my replacement parts arrived in a few days. The product and service were exceptional.
I just installed the Access Lorado Roll-up cover on a 2019 Honda Ridgeline. This is a well made product and I am delighted with the purchase. The box arrived from the factory within a week of ordering from etrailer.com.
Self-help installation was hassle free for one person using printed instructions and on-line videos. Make sure you pay close attention to installation of the tension adjuster so that the notches on both fiberglass reinforced plastic components engage the side rail properly (both components slide under the side rail until the notch is engaged).
The cover fits like a glove out-of-the box, and it looks amazing! I look forward to exposing it in all weather conditions but it appears to be reasonably watertight.
The box included a small package called the sound and vibration dampening kit that includes velcro hooks to better hold the rear cross rod to the rail, and rubber seals to dampen sound between the cover and two rear cross rods. I'll install this kit later if I notice a concern but I am impressed that Access would include it, likely in response to customer feedback.
Self-installed a great roll-up cover, excellent. Directions aren't quite idiot proof but managed to figure them out. Very happy with the product. Had one on a previous truck, excellent as well.
Access Lorado is a great cover! I have two trucks both with this cover. It allows easy access to my bed and the ability to haul large items without removal including a slide in truck camper. Great cover, great price.
I have had this Tonneau cover for over a year now, one of the best truck accessories I have ever purchased. Installation was easy, the latch mechanism works great, very durable tonneau material. Fast and free delivery. Highly recommend this cover and Etrailer!
I was delighted with the ease of installation and operation of the Access Lorado Tonneau cover. With previous covers I have had, closing them up was enough of a chore that I would leave it open until sure that I was not going to need access to my truck bed for a while. With the Lorado, I can open and close it with one hand and have no hesitation closing up. My only negative experience with this cover was the quality of bolts used in the rail clamps. The plating was rough and bound up when tightening so it seemed tight when it was not. I am sure it worked great in the Muppet labs with good quality bolts, but the cheap ones that I got were a bit of a pain. Lubrication and running them in and out a few times helped smooth out the rough spots after i figured out why the clamps were falling off.
45min install ,perfect fit ,completely water proof ,secure, improved gas mileage, love it ! Had one on a previous truck, and knew I had to get one for my new Nissan Titan XD. Thanks guys .
This is a great bed cover. It fits my Ranger perfectly and has a good design to keep out almost all rain from getting into the bed. It's good to be able to park at a mall or restaurant and know what ever is in the bed is relatively safe. The videos for installation were helpful. I have had Access covers in the past and they lasted over 10 years in the weather outside. I did give it a monthly application of 303 protectant.
Easy install. Only takes one person. Looks great and arrived a week early. My Honda Ridgeline trunk is funtional with top open or closed. Only a slight restriction on how far it will open.
Good quality. Easy install. Makes the truck look professional and ready for some work. I paired this with a tailgate lock and a tailgate assist strut, makes things nice and secure, and protected from the elements.

Easy install seems to be a good quality was in Myrtle Beach during Tropical storm Elsa and kept bed contents protected. Easy to open and close straps hold in place when rolled up. Fast shipping and looks great!
2021 Trail Boss
I was looking for a tonneau cover for our F-250 long Bed truck. I’ve owned products from Access in the past and knew they were high quality. This soft tonneau cover is no exception. It arrived two days after I placed the order. While unboxing it, the care in which it was packed was evident. This was a sign of things to come. The directions are well written. The install took about 35 minutes. I am very happy with the quality of the parts and the overall look of it on our truck.
I also have to mention the helpful folks at trailer. The person I spoke with while ordering, made sure I ordered the right one for our truck. She answered all my questions and made sure I was happy with my purchase. Excellent customer service.
Not a bad product for the price
Product was exactly what I expected. Directions were easy to follow. Installation was exactly easier than I expected. Looks great.
Great cover and fits like a glove. Fast shipping as well.
Fit my 98 Nissan Frontier just fine. The cover is durable and no leaks whatsoever. Had to trim my bed liner for it to fit, because I didn’t want totally remove the liner.
Top of the line roll up cover,, Better than the one I had before.
