Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this K Source driver side replacement manual remote side view mirror with the blue lens and the heat function. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1999 to 2005 Volkswagen Golf, Volkswagen GTI, Volkswagen Jetta vehicles. Now this side view mirror is a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. You can see this mirror is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. This one does have the manual remote capability which means you can adjust your mirror face position manually with the factory control stick that's inside your vehicle. And it does also offer the heated mirror glass which will clear frost and ice, reduce fogging. Now the glass in this they use is an OE grade flat glass, has first surface plating which reflects clear images.

Front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome, and it is a flat lens to reduce or to reflect the true representation of the object size in the mirror. And if you notice this one does have a blue tint on the lens to reduce the glare. This is a breakaway design, which means this mirror will fold when it's struck to prevent breakage. You can see it is a nice durable plastic housing with a black finish and it is an easy, no drill installation. Has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror, includes the mounting bolt right here, and the mirror will plug into your existing electrical wiring for the heat.

These specs on this, this part will replace the original equipment part number of 1 J 1 8 5 7 5 0 7 H 0 1 C. This is for a quantity of one driver's side mirror. And one note I just wanna mention is, on this, the heated glass of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has that function.
