Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Ksource Electric passenger side replacement side mirror. Now this is going to replace the passenger mirror on your 2016 to 2018 Toyota Tacoma and I am also including the original equipment number or OE number. And on custom fit parts such as this mirror I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now this mirror is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit, so you're really not going to be able to tell that this is a replacement.

It's going to look like it came with your Tacoma right from the factory. It features a durable plastic housing with a textured black finish and it has a, the breakaway design that's going to allow this mirror to fold in when struck to deter damage. Now like your original mirror, this mirror has the power remote capability and so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside of your Tacoma. The mirror glass is also heated to clear frost and ice and reduce fogging. Now do keep in mind that the power remote capability and the heated glass is only possible if your Tacoma is already capable of doing that.

So if your original mirror could do it, this mirror will be able to do it as well. But it will not actually add that functionality to your Tacoma, if it doesn't already have those features. I do wanna also point out that this mirror does not have a turn signal or puddle lamp or spotter mirror, and it does not support the blind spot detection or the BSDS. This does feature OE grade convex glass with first surface platting. That's going to reflect a clear image for you.

The front glass is plated with reflective chrome and the convex lens as you know, provides a wide angle view that reduces blind spots. This is going to be an easy, no-drill installation. This is going to use the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror that you're replacing on your Tacoma. And the mirror's going to plug into your Tacoma's existing electrical wiring. So this should be a very easy install.

There's nuts that are also included that I have loosely connected on these posts.
