Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this K Source Replacement Side View Mirror. This is gonna be a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your 1995 through 1999 Toyota Tacoma. Because this is modeled after your Tacoma's original look and fit, you really shouldn't be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror, it should look like it came with your Tacoma right from the factory, so you don't have to worry about that pieced together from the junkyard sorta look, it's all gonna look very united and cohesive, so should be a really nice replacement for your original. And because it does have that same footprint as the original, it's gonna be super simple to get installed, you're not gonna have to do any drilling or anything like that. Just pull the original one off, get this one installed with the included hardware, and you'll be ready to go.

This does have the same old E grade components and materials as the original, so the lens is a convex glass, so it's going to help provide a wide angle view that reduces your blind spots. The front of the glass does have a nice plated reflective chrome finish to it, so that you'll be able to see everything that's coming up behind you. It does have the breakaway design, so it will fold in on itself if it we're to get struck, like if you we're to run into the side of your garage or a parking post or something along those lines, it's gonna fold in to help absorb some of that impact to reduce the amount of damage done to the plastic housing. But this is gonna be a nice durable black finish plastic housing, and so it will hold up really well for you, it should do a really good job overall. Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is gonna work for your needs, this is going to replace the original equipment number that you see on the screen there, so if you're looking at your owner's manual or if you pulled off the original mirror and you see that number in either place, you can trust this is gonna be exactly what you need.
