I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at the replacement side mirror for the 2014 through 2016, Kia Forte5 hatchback, and the 2014 through 2016 Kia Forte sedan.Now, this is going to have the power functions, including the heated glass, remote control from inside your vehicles, so you can just use a little knob to adjust the angle of your mirror. It also has the remote breakaway design, so we can fold this in using the powered function, and also it helps to fold away if it happens to get struck. So, it'll just fold in, rather than actually breaking off, and will also have our turn signal built into the light, and a puddle lamp, so it has all of those functions.Now, if your vehicle didn't have those power functions to begin with, the remote capability, heated glass turn signal, puddle lamp, power folding, this is not going to give you an upgrade. This is only going to work if you already had those functions in your vehicle, since you'll have to have that wiring already installed for this to work. So, just keep that in mind there, that this is going to be for those vehicles.
Now, that being said, our wiring just plugs right into our factory harness, so there's no cutting or splicing required with this. It's just going to plug right in, and you'll be good to go. You'll just replace your hardware into the weld nuts there, to get everything installed. Have this little grommet here to provide a little bit extra protection between our vehicle and our mirror. Also helps to provide a little road dampening, or road noise dampening as well, so should be pretty much exactly like your old mirror.
Should look like it just came from the factory, so there really should be no change there.Really easy to install. Again, no drilling or anything required. Durable ABS plastic construction, and this can be color painted . Excuse me. It can be colored painted to match the color of your original mirror.
If you want to do that, you'll just want to make sure that you tape it up really well, so you don't get any over-spray on your mirror face, or the rest of the housing.Now, if you need the passenger's side, this is designed for the driver's side. We also have that available here at etrailer.com. That part number is going to be KS75561, and it's going to have all those same functions as this mirror as well. So, should get you back out on the road, and seeing what's going on behind you. This does have that flat glass on our driver's side, so we can have a true representation of what's going on behind us.
The passenger mirror would have everything the same, except the mirror face is going to be a little bit convex, to give you a greater field of view.I hope this video has been helpful in deciding whether or not this is going to be the right mirror for you, and that's going to do it for our look at the K Source replacement side mirror for the Kia Forte.

The passenger side mirror for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra proved a no-sweat installation and all the electrics worked at a quarter the cost of a factory replacement mirror.

Works great had it installed at the dealership. Would not accept my chrome piece that snaps into the back of the mirror, (different tab locations from OEM) but I needed the mirror more than the chrome. Would highly recommend for replacement.
Timely arrival, installation is not easy but doable, with basic skills and minimal tools it can be done in a few hours. [online video] helps. Fit great, worked as it should and this guy is happy. Quality is impressive and seems well built; time will tell. Customer service is excellent, emailed them with questions, next day response, convinced me this is a good quality company and wants to keep my business.

When i ordered the driver side mirror, i was disappointed to find that it did not match my original toyota mirror. Since i only needed to replace one mirror, having to order a passenger side mirror to replace a perfectly good mirror was not ideal. My toyota factory mirror covers do not fit your mirror and your mirror is bigger and is a different shape.
Arrived on time, appears to be a perfect match. Will follow up if any post-install problems. Customer service on the transaction was excellent.

I bought this mirror online a while ago for my Santa Fe sport AWD 2017, when I was buying that time I thought it will have all functions in a same way my old side mirror performing that time. But my BSD system in Car stopped working since the first day of install as this new mirror wont support that Blind Spot detection or this mirror only for heat and signal. Overall, I would like to recommend this mirror.

Fits my 2018 Rav4 Adventure. Watched [online] videos on how to replace. Completed the project in about 30 mins. (Pretty easy) Dealership quoted me at ~$500 for the repair and install so saved a lot of money in the long run. Package shipped quick and staff alerted me about shipping every step of the way. Will definitely re-buy from this site the next time I need to make a repair!
etrailer got us a wonderful looking replacement mirror, the electric remote and lights work like new, and the customer service was over-the-top. The dealer wanted $450+ to replace a side mirror on a 2010 Kia, but etrailer's $70 replacement is as good as new, easy to install, and brought my daughter's car back to life. When the first one was damaged in shipment, the etrailer staff was quick to remedy and keep me posted. Mirrors for 03 Silverado. Trailer mirrors before removal and the new mirrors I purchased. Power with manual fold, heated and signal in mirror. Easy change and exact fit.
Appears well constructed and perfect fit. Wire harness was perfect. 100% replication of functions. Mirror to door seal may leak over time. Factory seal was thicker, and could not re-use due to minor difference in mirror construction. Also, factory wire harness had a protective snap-in shroud and a few more wires, but does not appear to matter. I would recommend. My truck is 2007 Silverado Classic.
