Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a quick look at the custom fit K-Source replacement side mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for your passenger side mirror on your 2007 through 2012 Nissan Sentra. So, if something happened to that original mirror, got busted up, cracked, broke off, something happened, this is going to be that replacement that you need to get down the road safely again.So it's going to be really easy to get this installed. There's no drilling required, no cutting, no splicing or anything.

It's going to have the exact same matching hardware, the exact same footprint as that original OEM mirror. So we'll have the studs and some little nuts to go on there to tighten it down. You'll also have the plug port to connect in all of your wiring, so you don't have to worry about losing any kind of functionality with this mirror. It's going to give you all those functions you need to match with your original.It's a pretty straightforward process. Again, you can see that plug down there, so you can adjust your mirror face with the factory controls inside your Sentra.

There's no, again, no splicing required with this, it just plugs in right away. We have our three mounting places. It does have a little foam gasket going around the edge to help dampen any kind of road noise, and also to keep it nice and sealed up. You can see it has a nice black plastic housing. It's going to be nice and durable to match with the original finish.

This can be painted to match with your Sentra, and you just want to make sure that you tape everything up to eliminate any kind of over-spray getting onto the rest of the housing, especially onto the mirror face, itself.Speaking of that mirror face, it is going to be a convex design. So, that means that it's going to be bowed out a little bit to help eliminate any kind of blind spots. It's pretty typical for your passenger side mirrors. So you can pick those up, if you need both.One side note, I will say, if your Sentra didn't already have the power function, this isn't going to give you that functionality.

You'd have to have the wiring to make use of that function. So if it didn't already have a powered mirror, this isn't an upgrade.
