Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the K-Source replacement side mirror. This is going to replace the passenger side factory mirror on your 2013 and 2014 Mazda CX-5. This is modeled after the CX-5's original look and fit. So you're really not going to be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror.
It's going to look like it came with your Mazda right from the factory. And so you don't have to worry about your vehicle looking like you pieced it together from junkyard parts or anything like that. It is going to look very integrated into the rest of your vehicle.Like your original, it's going to have the power remote capability so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. It's also going to have the heated mirror glass, so it can clear frost and ice and help reduce fogging on those chilly mornings and days. It does have the amber light on the side here, which will illuminate when you have your turn signal activated.
It's going to help bring attention to the fact that you're turning or switching lanes, whatever the case may be.One thing that this mirror does not have is the blind spot detection. So if your original mirror had that, you will lose a little bit of functionality there, but overall, almost all of the same features as your original. Now keep in mind, all those features: your power remote capability, the heated mirror glass, and your turn signal will only work if your vehicle is already capable of doing those things. So if your original mirror could do it, this mirror will be able to do that, but it won't add those functions to a vehicle that doesn't already have those capabilities.This is an OE grade product. So it's going to have the same quality materials as your original.
The lens is a convex lens. So it's going to provide a nice wide angle view like most of your passenger side mirrors, so that it will help reduce those blind spots.The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome. So it's going to give you a nice, clear image, so you can see the objects and vehicles beside you and behind you. This is made of a durable plastic housing with a black finish to it. So it is going to resist damage.
This can be painted to match your vehicle's color to even further integrate it into the look of your vehicle.This also has the breakaway design. So it's going to fold in. If you run into like a post or the side of your garage or something like that, the mirror will fold in on itself to try and help absorb some of that impact and reduce the damage to the housing or the mirror itself. As far as the installation, it's going to be extremely simple. It's got the same footprint as your original mirror.So basically, all you have to do is take the old mirror off, put this one in its place, plug in the plug to the same port as the original mirror for those factory power controls and heated mirror glass, and those sort of things. Everything is exactly the same as your original mirror. So it's going to be very easy to get this installed. For those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to work for you, this is an exact replacement for the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So if you look in your owner's manual, you see that number, you can rest assured that this is going to work for you.And this is just the passenger side mirror. Transaction with you was pleasant. However,the after-market product is inferior to the dealer's, in that the HEATING ELEMENT does NOT cover the entire surface of the mirror & takes much longer to work.
The passenger side mirror for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra proved a no-sweat installation and all the electrics worked at a quarter the cost of a factory replacement mirror.

Timely arrival, installation is not easy but doable, with basic skills and minimal tools it can be done in a few hours. [online video] helps. Fit great, worked as it should and this guy is happy. Quality is impressive and seems well built; time will tell. Customer service is excellent, emailed them with questions, next day response, convinced me this is a good quality company and wants to keep my business.

Works great had it installed at the dealership. Would not accept my chrome piece that snaps into the back of the mirror, (different tab locations from OEM) but I needed the mirror more than the chrome. Would highly recommend for replacement.
When i ordered the driver side mirror, i was disappointed to find that it did not match my original toyota mirror. Since i only needed to replace one mirror, having to order a passenger side mirror to replace a perfectly good mirror was not ideal. My toyota factory mirror covers do not fit your mirror and your mirror is bigger and is a different shape.
Arrived on time, appears to be a perfect match. Will follow up if any post-install problems. Customer service on the transaction was excellent.
I bought this mirror online a while ago for my Santa Fe sport AWD 2017, when I was buying that time I thought it will have all functions in a same way my old side mirror performing that time. But my BSD system in Car stopped working since the first day of install as this new mirror wont support that Blind Spot detection or this mirror only for heat and signal. Overall, I would like to recommend this mirror.
....although the delivery of the item I ordered was longer than originally committed to by etrailer, when the item finally arrived, the product was as described and a factory replacement for the vehicle.

Fits my 2018 Rav4 Adventure. Watched [online] videos on how to replace. Completed the project in about 30 mins. (Pretty easy) Dealership quoted me at ~$500 for the repair and install so saved a lot of money in the long run. Package shipped quick and staff alerted me about shipping every step of the way. Mirrors for 03 Silverado. Trailer mirrors before removal and the new mirrors I purchased. Power with manual fold, heated and signal in mirror. Easy change and exact fit.
Appears well constructed and perfect fit. Wire harness was perfect. 100% replication of functions. Mirror to door seal may leak over time. Factory seal was thicker, and could not re-use due to minor difference in mirror construction. Also, factory wire harness had a protective snap-in shroud and a few more wires, but does not appear to matter. I would recommend. My truck is 2007 Silverado Classic.
