Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the driver's side view mirror on your 2009 through 2014 Acura TL. And it is modeled after your Acura's original look and fit. So you're really not going to be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror. It's going to look like it came with your vehicle, right from the factory.It does have the power remote capability, so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle.

It's got the heated mirror glass. That's going to clear away frost and ice and help reduce fogging. On the side here, it's got your amber light on the back, which is going to flash when you have your turn signal activated. And it's also going to be compatible with your memory function. So your car's memory will recognize the preset mirror position, and it will adjust accordingly.Keep in mind all those features...

Your remote capability, your heated glass, turn signal, memory. All of that is only available if your vehicle already has those functions. This mirror is not going to add that, it's only going to work if your vehicle already is capable of that.You can see on the front of our mirror here, it does have a blue tint to help reduce glare. This is an OE grade mirror, so it's going to be the same quality as the mirror that came with your vehicle from the factory. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, so you're going to get a nice, clear image.

It's also a flat lens, so you're going to get a true representation of the objects behind you. You're not going to have to worry about any sort of warping or distortion or anything like that.It does have a breakaway design. So if you we're to back into a pole or the start of your garage or anything like that, it's going to fold up to help deter any sort of damage to the mirror. And it is made of a durable plastic housing with a black finish. This plastic can be painted to match your Acura.

To again, make it look even more like it came with your vehicle from the factory. As far as installation, it's going to be very simple. We're going to have the same three screws and wiring as the original mirror. So basically all you're going to have to do is remove the old mirror, plug this one in, get it tightened down, and you're ready to go.For those of you who do like the details, this is a replacement for the original equipment number 76250TK4A01ZD.
