Today, we'll be taking a quick look at the K Source replacement side mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for a broken or missing mirror on your vehicle. It's a custom fit for the 1996 through 2000 Honda Civic sedan. It is a manually operated mirror, so it doesn't have any power functions.There'll be a little handle where you can actually adjust that mirror from inside your cab. It comes with the hardware to go on the end of that. You'll want to wait until you actually get this installed before you put on that handle.
This cap fits on the end pretty tightly, so you want to make sure that you wait until you have everything tightened down before you snap on the cap.This will go through the same place that this mirror came off. This is for the passenger side, so it's going to have the same footprint. There's no drilling or any cutting required with this. Comes with the hardware. We'll have our three nuts to attach, and then we'll also have these little white spacers to go in place as well.
Once we get that all mounted up, then we can attach on our handle for that adjustment knob. That actually comes through the cap, so you do . Or, comes through into your vehicle, so again, you want to wait to get this installed fully before you put that on or else you won't be able to get it in place. The larger portion just slides over the square end. Then, that little screw attaches that to the post, and then we can snap on the cap.That has an OE grade convex glass with a nice reflective chrome.
We'll get a true representation of what's behind us. That convex actually gives us a wider angle, so we can get a better idea of what's going on behind us, but that will distort the image a little bit so that, as it says at the bottom, objects in mirror are closer than they appear.The housing is made of a durable black plastic. Again, easy to install, no wiring to worry about with this. This is going to be a replacement for the OE number 76200S01A05. Again, it's for the passenger side.

Etrailer ordering and delivery are great. The replacement outside mirror looks good and functions well however the fit to the body of the truck is not the best. There is a 1/8 to 1/4 inch gap between the body of the truck and mirror. Also it didn't have the rubber boots that keep water air out. I'm afraid it will leak water into the door or make a wind noise.
