Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this K-Source Replacement Side View Mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the passenger-side factory mirror on the 2007 through 2013 Cadillac Escalade and Chevrolet Avalanche, as well as the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra with the new body, the 2008 through 2013 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500, as well as the 2007 through 2014 Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL. So if you have any of those vehicles, this is going to be a fit for you. This will replace that factory passenger-side mirror. It is modeled after your vehicle's original look and fit, so you really shouldn't be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror.
It should look like it came with your vehicle right from the factory. You can paint this back cover here to match your vehicle for even more integrated look. And because it is using the same footprint and mounting points as the original, you're not gonna have to do any drilling. It's gonna be a very simple installation. Basically, just remove your original, put this one in its place.
It's got the same power hookups, electrical wiring, so it's gonna be very easy to get this put in place of the original. Just like the original, this is going to have that power remote capability, so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. It's also going to have the heated mirror glass, so it's gonna help clear frost and ice and reduce fogging. You can see it does have this red LED arrow in the mirror face. It's gonna light up when the turn signal is activated.
It also has the power folding that's going to allow you to fold the mirror end using controls inside your vehicle. The mirror will also fold in when struck to help deter breakage. So if you're to run into a parking post or the side of your garage or something like that, it's gonna help absorb some of that impact. And it does also have the memory function so that your car's computer recognition can set the mirror at your preferred position. Now, keep in mind, all those capabilities, the power remote, the heated glass, the LED turn signal, and the power folding and memory functions are only going to work if your vehicle already has those functions.
It's not going to add those capabilities to a vehicle that doesn't have them already. This mirror does not have the puddle lamp. So if you have the puddle lamp on your current one or the one that has become damaged, this is not going to be, won't have that capability. It does not support the auto-dimming function either. So if you have those capabilities, it won't be exactly the same as the original, but you'll still get the majority of those capabilities with this replacement. So this is going to be an OE-grade quality mirror. So you're gonna have the front of the glass plated with a reflective chrome, so you get a nice, clear image. It is a convex lens like most your passenger-side mirrors are these days to give you a nice, wide angle view, to help reduce your blind spots, to make sure that you can see what's coming up behind you, that sort of thing. This does have a nice, durable plastic housing with a textured finish here, these parts. So it is going to be a really nice replacement for you. If you need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to work for you, this is going to replace the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So if you go through your owner's manual or when you pull off the original mirror, if you see that number anywhere, you can trust this is gonna be exactly what you need. Transaction with you was pleasant. However,the after-market product is inferior to the dealer's, in that the HEATING ELEMENT does NOT cover the entire surface of the mirror & takes much longer to work.

Timely arrival, installation is not easy but doable, with basic skills and minimal tools it can be done in a few hours. [online video] helps. Fit great, worked as it should and this guy is happy. Quality is impressive and seems well built; time will tell. Customer service is excellent, emailed them with questions, next day response, convinced me this is a good quality company and wants to keep my business.

Works great had it installed at the dealership. Would not accept my chrome piece that snaps into the back of the mirror, (different tab locations from OEM) but I needed the mirror more than the chrome. Would highly recommend for replacement.
When i ordered the driver side mirror, i was disappointed to find that it did not match my original toyota mirror. Since i only needed to replace one mirror, having to order a passenger side mirror to replace a perfectly good mirror was not ideal. My toyota factory mirror covers do not fit your mirror and your mirror is bigger and is a different shape.
Arrived on time, appears to be a perfect match. Will follow up if any post-install problems. Customer service on the transaction was excellent.
I bought this mirror online a while ago for my Santa Fe sport AWD 2017, when I was buying that time I thought it will have all functions in a same way my old side mirror performing that time. But my BSD system in Car stopped working since the first day of install as this new mirror wont support that Blind Spot detection or this mirror only for heat and signal. Overall, I would like to recommend this mirror.
....although the delivery of the item I ordered was longer than originally committed to by etrailer, when the item finally arrived, the product was as described and a factory replacement for the vehicle.

etrailer got us a wonderful looking replacement mirror, the electric remote and lights work like new, and the customer service was over-the-top. Mirrors for 03 Silverado. Trailer mirrors before removal and the new mirrors I purchased. Power with manual fold, heated and signal in mirror. Easy change and exact fit.
Appears well constructed and perfect fit. Wire harness was perfect. 100% replication of functions. Mirror to door seal may leak over time. Factory seal was thicker, and could not re-use due to minor difference in mirror construction. Also, factory wire harness had a protective snap-in shroud and a few more wires, but does not appear to matter. I would recommend. My truck is 2007 Silverado Classic.
