Today we're going to take a look at the K Source electric heated passenger side replacement side mirror. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2003 to 2006 Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Avalanche, Chevy Suburban or Tahoe, and the GMC Yukon with the heated power mirror. Also the 2003 to 2007 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra with the heated power mirror. On any custom fit part I always like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it will show you if this will work for your application. This side view mirror is a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. It is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit.
It does have the power remote capability so you're able to adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls that are inside your vehicle. This mirror also has the heated mirror glass which will clear frost and ice and reduce fogging. The mirror uses an OE grade convex glass with first surface plating where it helps reflect clear images. Basically the front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome and being a passenger side mirror it is a convex designed lens that provides a nice wide angle view that helps reduce blind spots. It is a breakaway design which means the mirror does fold when struck to prevent breakage. It's a nice, durable plastic housing with a textured black finish. This is an easy, no drill installation.
It has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror and this mirror will plug into your existing electrical wiring. A few specs on this, the quantity is for one passenger side mirror. It is designed to replace the original equipment part number 15226945. A note on this, the power remote capability and heated glass of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions. The passenger side view mirror for my 2002 Kia Sedona mini van arrived in perfect condition a day earlier than expected. I was concerned I could find a mirror for a vehicle 18 years old. The product was as advertised but I was more impressed with the service from etrailer.com. The supplier was a bit slow but the folks at etrailer.com kept me in the loop the entire way. It was very much appreciated as my wife was very anxious about not having the side mirror. The mirror fit and worked on the first try. Just one word of caution, there are no installation instructions with the mirror so you need to be comfortable taking a door panel off and doing the install. Kudos to Megan and the other staff that were so helpful!
My only issue is that I asked for the passenger side view mirror, for my 2012 Subaru Forrester. My vehicle, the side view mirrors also have lights on both, so oncoming drivers can get an additional signal, letting them know which way I am turning. The mirror sent does not have that. So now One mirror has it, and the other side does not. Great

Approximately a 25 minute installation. Great product. Arrived in less than 5 days after ordering. Pretty much a plug and play application. I need to get another push plug, because the ears on one of the inner door mounts broke, while removing it. That stuff happens. Great purchase experience. Highly recommend.
So far so good. The mirror does not shake like my last mirror that I replaced. It is wired properly and not backwards. I would buy again
