Today, we're going to review Part Number KS62025G. This is the K Source electric and heated replacement side mirror for the passenger side with a black and chrome finish. Now this is a custom fit part number. It is designed to fit the 1999 to 2002 Chevy, GMC, and Cadillac trucks and SUVs with electric and heated mirrors. This is a side view mirror, which is a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. It is modeled after manufacturer's original look at fit. It does have the power remote capability, which means you can adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle.
It does have heated mirror glass, which will clear frost and ice and reduce fogging. One note I do want to mention, that this mirror will only work on vehicles that already have those functions on the vehicle, the electric and heated. It does use an OE grade convex glass. It has first surface plating to reflect the clear images, so the front of the glass is plated with the reflective chrome. It is a convex lens, which will provide a wide angle view that reduces blind spots. A convex lens is usually always used on the passenger's side.
It is a breakaway design. Right here you can see that the mirror will fold up against the vehicle when it is struck to prevent breakage. You can see it has a durable black, plastic housing with the nice chrome finish. It I an easy, no drill installation. You can see the mounting points. Has the same footprint as your factory mirror.
Also comes with . They've just got covers on those, you just remove those when you go to install it. It actually even comes with three nuts when you go to install it to use. The mirror will plug into your existing electrical wiring. A few specs on this. This part is designed to replace the original equipment numbers part 15179830 and 15179833.

The passenger side view mirror for my 2002 Kia Sedona mini van arrived in perfect condition a day earlier than expected. I was concerned I could find a mirror for a vehicle 18 years old. The product was as advertised but I was more impressed with the service from etrailer.com. The supplier was a bit slow but the folks at etrailer.com kept me in the loop the entire way. It was very much appreciated as my wife was very anxious about not having the side mirror. The mirror fit and worked on the first try. Just one word of caution, there are no installation instructions with the mirror so you need to be comfortable taking a door panel off and doing the install. Kudos to Megan and the other staff that were so helpful!
My only issue is that I asked for the passenger side view mirror, for my 2012 Subaru Forrester. My vehicle, the side view mirrors also have lights on both, so oncoming drivers can get an additional signal, letting them know which way I am turning. The mirror sent does not have that. So now One mirror has it, and the other side does not. Great

Approximately a 25 minute installation. Great product. Arrived in less than 5 days after ordering. Pretty much a plug and play application. I need to get another push plug, because the ears on one of the inner door mounts broke, while removing it. That stuff happens. Great purchase experience. Highly recommend.
So far so good. The mirror does not shake like my last mirror that I replaced. It is wired properly and not backwards. I would buy again
