Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 1987, the 1996 Dodge Dakota Trucks, and on a custom fit part I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this will work for your application.Now this side view mirror is a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. It is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. Does have the power remote capabilities, so you can adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. Does use an OE grade convex glass with first-surface plating, to reflect clear images. Now, the front of the class is plated with reflective chrome, and then it uses a convex lens which will provide a wide angle view that reduces blind spots.
It has a breakaway design so the mirror will fold when struck to prevent any breakage. You can see it has a nice durable black housing. Nice chrome finish to it.It is an easy no-drill installation. Comes with the mounting nuts to install it. You'll notice it has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror, and if you notice also, the mirror will plug into your existing electrical wiring.
Now, this will replace the original equipment part number 55154666. This is for a quantity of one passenger side mirror. The mirror chrome is very nice. Have not installed on the car as of yet.
Had to replace a damaged side mirror on my son's Prius. Price was right, George even sent me an email with a "how to install" video. Toyota wanted over $300 to do this! Literally took me less than 45 minutes! Eventually will find spray touch up paint and make it match the car, but the gloss black finish is excellent as it is. Great buying experience.
