Today we're going to be taking a look at the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror for the driver's side of your vehicle. This product is designed to fit your 2011 to 2013 Subaru Forester. The side view mirror is the direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your vehicle. It's modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It does feature power remote capability, that way you can adjust the mirror face position by using the factory power controls from within the vehicle. It's also going to have heated mirror glass, so it's going to do a great job at clearing frost and ice, as well as reducing fogging.
The glass is a OE-grade, flat glass with first-surface plating to reflect clear images. It does have a breakaway design so if the mirror is struck from the front or from the back it will fold in or fold away. Which is really going to help deter breakage. The housing is a durable plastic construction with a nice black finish. The cover can be painted to match your vehicle if you desire to do that. It's an easy no drill installation.
It's going to use the same footprint and mounting points as factory mirror. Its got the nice adhesive cushions right there, and then you can see that's got the connection points. Overall, really nice design. Again, it's going to plug into the existing electrical wiring with the electrical connection right here. The original equipment or OE number is 91029SC480.
A couple note to mention is that the power remote capability and heated glass of the mirror will work only if your vehicle is already equipped of those functions. This mirrot does not have a turn signal. That's going to do it for today's look at the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror for the driver's side of your Forester.
