Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this K-Source replacement side view mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your 1984 through 1990 Jeep Wagoneer as well as your 1990, 84 through 1996 Jeep Cherokee and your 1986 through 1992 Jeep Comanche. This is modeled after the Jeep's original look and fit. So you really shouldn't be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror should look like it came with your Jeep, right from the factory.
So you don't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard sort of look it should all look very integrated and seamless for you. The mirror does adjust with the manual adjustment there so you can get it to the right angle for you. This is an OE grade product. So it's made with the same quality materials as the original, the flat glass is coated with a reflective chrome so that you're going to get a nice, clear image. And that flat lens is going to ensure that you get a true representation of the object size behind you.
You're not going to have to worry about any warping or distortion, anything like that. This does have a spring loaded breakaway design. So if you we're to hit the mirror on your side of your garage door or a parking post or something like that it's going to bring, bend in to try and help absorb some of that impact to deter the mirror housing from breaking but then it is spring loaded so it will pop right back out into its original position. This does have a nice durable plastic housing on it. So it should hold up well for you for a nice long time you can see it does have that black finish.
So should blend in really well with your original this is going to be extremely easy to get installed. It's got the same footprint as the original mirror. So really all you have to do is take the old mirror off put this one in its place. You're not going to have to worry about drilling holes or anything like that. It's gonna fit very easily, right in place of the original.
Now for those of you who need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to be a fit for you this is going to be a direct replacement for the part number that you will see on the screen here shortly as I get it pulled up. There we go. So if you see that original equipment number on your original mirror or in your owner's manual this is gonna be the replacement that you need. And this is just the driver's side mirror. If you need the passenger side we also have that available using the part number that you see on the screen there. So if you do need both we have those available for you here at etrailer.com.
