Today we're going to be taking a look at the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror for the passenger side of your vehicle. This product fits certain years and models of Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC vehicles, so you can use the vehicle fit guide located at etrailer.com to see if this is a fit for your vehicle. The side view mirrors are direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on the vehicle. It has been modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It's going to feature power remote capability, that way you can adjust the mirror face position by using the factory power controls from inside the vehicle. It's going to have a heated mirror glass which is going to do a great job at clearing frost and ice, and reducing fogging.
That's going to be an OE grade convex glass with first-surface plating to reflect clear images. The front of the glasses is plated with a reflective chrome, and then the convex lens provide a wide angle view that's really going to help reduce blind spots. This mirror does feature a breakaway design, so it will fold when it's struck from the front or from the back to deter breakage. When it comes to the housing, we're looking at a durable plastic housing with a black finish. This area up here can be painted and match the vehicles if desired. Then the rest of the housing is a nice texture design.
It's an easy no drill installation, it's going to use the same foot print and mounting points as your factory mirror. It's got the wiring so that way the mirror plug into the existing electrical wiring. It's going to have three mounting studs, and each stud is going to come with a nut that goes with it. The original equipment or OE number is 20809968. Please keep in mind that the power remote capability and the heated glass of the mirror will work only if the vehicle's already has those functions.
This mirror does not support the memory or power folding functions, and it does not have a puddle lamp. That's going to do it for today's look at the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror for the passenger side.

My passenger side truck mirror did not stand a chance after getting too close to a tree while backing up. The replacement mirror from etrailer looks and works as great as the original.
