Today we're going to take a look at this K-Source Passenger Side Replacement Electric Side View Mirror, with the Heat Function, and the Spotter Mirror. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2012 to 2014 Chevrolet Equinox and the GMC Terrain. Now on a custom fit part like this, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this'll work for your application.Now this side view mirror is a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. You can see it is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit.
It does offer the power remote capability, which means you can adjust your mirror face position, with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. The glass on this is a heated mirror glass, which will clear frost and ice, reduces fogging, and up at the very corner here you can see this little built-in spotter mirror, helps minimize blind spots.They do use OE grade convex glass with first-surface plating to reflect clear images. Front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, and then they use a convex lens to provide a nice wide angle view that reduces blind spots. It is a breakaway design, so the mirror will fold when it's struck to prevent breakage. You can see it's in a nice durable plastic housing with a textured black finish, and then the chrome finish right here.
It is an easy no-drill installation, has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror. And the mirror does plug into your existing electrical wiring. A few specs on this, this will replace the original equipment part number of 23153004. It is for a quantity of one passenger side mirror.Now a couple of notes on this mirror, is the power remote capability, and the heated glass of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions.
