Video Transcript for WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors Installation - 2013 Ford Focus

Today on our 2013 Ford Focus we'll be having a look at the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors, available with dark tinting as part number WT80573. Or light tinting as part number WT70573. All right, here's what our window visor looks like installed. As you can see it's a nice slim line design that follows the contour of our vehicle nicely. Because the slim line design and giving us a clean look it looks like it's there from the factory. So if it's a hot humid day and it's raining you'll be able to crack your windows to get some fresh air in your vehicle, and you don't have to worry about getting any of the rain inside. Another thing I like about these, this does cut down on the wind noise.

Now when we install our visors we want to have our window rolled about halfway down, right about where we have it here, and we'll want to make sure our window's clean at the very top edge. We already used some soap and water and a towel to clean our window off, so now we'll take our visor here, you can see there's a channel all the way around the perimeter of it that goes inside our window channel here. We'll start at the front making sure that this rests on top the door sill, slide it in the channel. Once we have the front in we'll come towards the back, place it into the channel, and then we'll work it into the top. Just like that. It's recommended that we open and close the window fully about five times.

Once we've done it five times it's recommended that we leave the windows fully closed for 24 hours so it'll seat into the channel all the way. That completes our look at the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors for our 2013 Ford Focus.
