Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Vitrifrigo Slim 250 black RV refrigerator and freezer. Now this is gonna be a really versatile RV refrigerator that's designed specifically for mobile use and this is built to handle life on the road a whole lot better than a standard home fridge. And as you saw on the front there, it does have a smart two-part layout. And I'm just giving you a quick spin here just so you have a good view of all the size of the fridge here.
So you're gonna have this traditional, front-opening fridge on the top and then a pullout freezer drawer on the bottom. So that's gonna be really nice. It's gonna be very easy to open both of the doors. And let me go ahead and just give you a closeup view here and I'm gonna line this up just so you can see that a little bit better. And you can see the layout in there.
You've got plenty of racks, I think, and you're gonna have multiple different ways that you can level the racks depending on the size of the items that you have in there. You're gonna have crisper drawers here at the bottom and then shelving on the doors as well, and you got spots here for bottles. So quite a bit of space here, a lot of usable space here. So overall, this is an 8.8 cubic foot unit and it's gonna run on either your 12 or 24 volt DC power. And this is built to be efficient, durable, and adaptable.
Basically a really solid option if you want reliable refrigeration while traveling without sacrificing flexibility or functionality. Now one of the standout features is the lower drawer freezer and I'm giving you an overhead view here. Let me see if I can line this up here just a little bit better. I thought this would be the best way to show this to you. So you pop that open and that's going to be your freezer and it's going to be very easy to get into this, very smooth opening and closing that this drawer has.
And while we're here in this position, I also wanted to point out a cool feature that I think all the Vitrifrigo fridges have that I've seen is the option to vent when you're not using this. So as you can see here, I'm able to close this drawer without it closing flush. So that's going to allow this to breathe and when it's not in use on the off season, so you're not gonna have to worry about moldy or mildewy smell. And then there's this little latch right here, so I'm gonna slide that back over and then that's going to allow me to close that flush. Going back up here on the door, we have that here as well. So just slide this up right here. And then that's going to allow the door to close but not all the way. So again, that's going to be able to breathe if you will. But the door's gonna stay closed as well, so you're not gonna have to worry about the door popping open while you're going down the road. Now this does use next generation, a next generation compressor. So that's designed specifically for your RVs and overlanding. So it is going to be more efficient, it's gonna be lighter than older systems and it's going to be better at handling movement and varying conditions. The compressor uses natural gas, R600a. That's going to ensure high performance and a low environmental impact and high energy efficiency. Let me go back out to my wide view here and give you some measurements. I went ahead and measured this before our time together and just wanna give you a good idea of the size. So the overall height, and I'm including the highest portion here. We're sitting at about 61 inches tall. And then the overall width from end to end. And actually the width here that I'm measuring is going to include this, 'cause this is going to be the widest point, the top here with the thermostat controls here. This is gonna be about 23 and 7/16ths inches wide. And then the overall depth, and I'm including the portion here that sticks out just a little bit. It's gonna be about 25 and 5/8ths inches deep. Overall, this weighs about 130 pounds and you're gonna get different operating modes like a night mode that's gonna run quieter and use less power, a turbo mode that's going to cool things down quickly, for instance, when you first load it up. And a lot of other features that this includes. And it obviously comes in this really nice black color. So it's gonna blend in really well with your interior decor. It's gonna be scratch-resistant and it's got these really nice matching chrome-like handles. So overall this is gonna be a solid option to consider if this matches the specs that you're looking for. And as I mentioned, this is going to run on your 12 or 24 volt system. And again, just kind of giving you a view of the back there. You see everything here at the bottom, compressor, the wiring and such. Now if you are wondering about installation and you're not too excited about handling that yourself, we do have an option for you on this product page, typically underneath the photo section, we do have a link that will take you to our installer locator. Click that link and answer the questions that it has for you and that locator will find a installer in your area that etrailer has partnered with to install this for you. I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
