Video Transcript for Review of Vitrifrigo RV Refrigerators - Stainless Steel RV Refrigerator Freezer - VT46RR

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at this Vitrifrigo stainless steel RV refrigerator and freezer. Now, I do want to let you know right off the top here that this is sitting a little bit taller than what it's going to sit for you or how it's going to sit for you. I have this on a floor dolly, so that's going to allow me to move this around, give you a 360 and everything like that. So I just want to let you know that this is sitting a little bit taller. Now, this is a 10.6 cubic foot refrigerator and freezer system that's built specifically for RVs and boats.

So it's going to combine a good amount of cold storage space with features designed to handle travel and movement. So, the easiest way to understand this layout is you basically have three separate storage compartments. At the top here is going to be a traditional front-opening fridge. And let me see if I can give you a slightly closer view there. And I'm going to come around and pop this open here.

So this is going to be where you're going to keep your everyday refrigerated items like drinks, produce, dairy, leftovers, all that good stuff. I just kind of want to walk through a little bit of what you have here on the inside. By the way, in the drawer sections and in here, you're going to see this gray film. That's going to be to protect the stainless steel finish there while it's during shipping. So you're just going to peel that off.

Actually, the whole front of the fridge will have that same film. So again, that's just to protect this nice finish, so you'll just peel that off when you get it. But we do have these wire metal shelves here that you're going to be able to easily adjust. And then we have, I believe this is glass. Yeah, we have a glass shelf here with two crisper drawers.

So you're going to have plenty of space here. You have an LED light, then you have storage here on the sides, got some shelving. And then you've got a shelf here with this wire restraint for taller condiment bottles or soda bottles or something like that. So again, quite a bit of usable space here. And if I forget to mention it, I'm going to mention it now. You do have easy-to-use LED thermostat controls right here at the top for each of the compartments there. And then below are going to be two pullout freezer drawers. And I think the best way to do that to show you is to give you an overhead view, so let me move this more in frame here so you can see. So, here's the first pullout freezer drawer. And if you notice here, we do have an ice maker. And so this is going to be the ice bucket there. And I'm going to go back out to my wide view real quick. And I think you can see that ice maker. It's kind of hard with my camera set up here to shoot items with drawers to give you a really good view of the inside. But we have the ice maker here. So we've got, like I mentioned, the ice bucket here. So really similar to a the setup that you would have with a residential fridge at home. So then, I'll show you the second one here as well. So that's going to be the bottom freezer drawer. So the main freezer compartment, as we saw, has that built-in ice maker. So you're going to be able to make ice right in the unit without needing a separate ice machine. And one of the advantages of this type of setup is obviously going to be organization. So instead of having one large refrigerator freezer space where everything is going to get mixed together, this three-compartment setup is going to make it easier to separate, for instance, your fresh food from frozen food and then organize different frozen items between the two drawers. So it's very flexible, very versatile in that way. This also uses a dual internal cooling units. So that's going to help the compartments maintain their cooling performance independently. Now, because this is intended for mobile applications, they're going to be obviously some important RV and marine-friendly details. Before I go over that in detail, I just wanted to kind of give you a 360 here and show you the backside in particular as well. So you have your electrical cords there, hoses here. And so I just want to give you a view of the back and just continue the turnaround here. Now going back to the front here, we do have these steel lock latches from Vitrifrigo. So we got one here on our main refrigerator door and then one on each of our freezer doors. And that's going to help keep the door and the drawers shut securely while you're going down the road or maybe you're going to have this in a boat. You're not going to have to worry about the doors accidentally popping open. And so another cool feature that this has, that Vitrifrigo has, let me give you a close up here again of our refrigerator door, is you're going to be able to vent this when it's not in use. So let's say it's not camping season anymore or boating season or what have you, and you're going to power down the fridge and not use it. You have this feature here where it's going to allow you to keep the door latched, but keep it ajar. So if you notice we're not closed flush, that's going to allow venting. So you're not going to have to worry about mold forming in there or mildew smells or musty smells or anything like that. We have it here with our main freezer drawer as well. Just slide that out and then that's going to allow you to latch that and you can see it right there. So it's going to keep everything ajar, but again, you're not going to have to worry about the door or the drawer just accidentally popping open. And then when you're ready to use this, power it back up, start putting stuff in it, you'll just push that latch in. Same with this as well. It's very easy to use. Slide that in and then close it just like that and then you'll be ready to put this back to use. So I did mention the thermostats here, very easy to use. LED thermostats. This is a dual power unit, so it's going to be able to operate with 12 volt or 24 volt DC as well as 115 volt AC power. And that's important because it's going to give you the flexibility to run from an RV or boat's DC electrical system or from standard AC power when it's available. Now, something I did not mention yet, I should have mentioned earlier is the size. So as I mentioned, this is sitting a little bit taller for me since I have it elevated a little bit. But let me give you the measurements that we have and this is going to be listed on our product page as well. So from the top to the floor that it's going to be sitting on, we're sitting at about almost 67 inches tall. It's going to be specifically 66 and 13/16th inches tall. Looking at the length from end to end, about 26 and 7/8 inches long. And then the depth from the front of the fridge ending to the back here, we're sitting pretty close to 23 and 1/4 inch deep. And this weighs about 235 pounds. So, it is sizable. It is on the heavier side, but it's built out of all premium materials. And so it's definitely not going to be like a mini fridge or a portable refrigerator. So I think that's going to cover all the features that are important about this fridge. And if you think you would like some help with insulation, on this product page underneath the photo section, we have a link that will take you to our installer locator. Click that link, answer the questions that it has for you, and that an installer locator will find an installer in your area that etrailer has partnered with to help you get this installed. I think that's going to wrap up our look today. Again, my name's Andy, thank you for joining me.
