You can set your water use between 0.1 and 0.7 gallons per flush, then let the system do the work. Once programmed, it delivers a fresh rinse from your RV's freshwater tank every time, which saves water off-grid and keeps odors in check. You can reset the setting later if your needs change. A built-in solenoid valve with anti-siphon breaker protects your drinking water supply, and with a simple button press, you get reliable flushing without foot pedals or hand pumps.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Tecma Black Ceramic Silence Plus 2G Macerating RV Toilet. Now, if you're looking for an RV toilet that's going to feel more like what you have at home but works better for RV life, this one's really gonna be a great item for you to consider. Now, from a design standpoint, rather, this is sleek, and it's clean looking with that black color. Just between you and me, I don't think I've seen a whole lot of black toilets in my lifetime, I've seen various other colors, but this is relatively a new one on me. So, it's really gonna be a sleek look for your RV or camper bathroom.
All of the wiring and the plumbing are going to be tucked out of sight. You are going to get the electronics, the additional wiring, the switches and bracketing that you're going to need hardware to get this installed, so everything that you see here on my table is going to be included. Now, from a design standpoint, this is an elongated bowl. And I wanted to give you some measurements before we press ahead here, just so you know upfront what to expect and the size. So, looking at the overall height, we are sitting pretty close to about 18 and one eighth inches tall.
And from my viewpoint here, you can see, that's about the tallest point here. So again, right at about 18 and one eighth inches tall. And the width, this might be kind of tricky to show on camera, let's see if I can endeavor to do that, it looks like the width here at the widest point is about 15 and three eighths inches. And then, like I said, this is a elongated bowl, so the length is gonna be, lining that up a little bit better, I'm gonna say about 20 and one eighth inches deep. And then the footprint is going to be right at about 15 and seven eighths inches deep, so, obviously shorter than our overall depth.
Again, the footprint's gonna be about 15 and seven eighths inches deep, and the width is gonna be right at about 11 and one eighth inches wide there. Hopefully you can see that. And this is a relatively heavy toilet, obviously it's all ceramics, so it weighs about 55 pounds, overall. This has been designed to help prevent clogs, and it does have a built-in electric pump that's going to grind waste and toilet paper before it heads to your black tank, and what that means for you is less chance of blockages and less buildup over time, which is a big deal for maintenance and long-term reliability. It's also water-efficient and adjustable.
You can choose how much water to use per flush, anywhere from 0.1 gallons for a quick rinse, up to 0.7 gallons for a more thorough flush, and you can conserve water when you need to, or use a fuller flush when it makes sense. I'm giving you an overhead look here. So we've got the lid, we've got the seat, and then you have the inside there. Comfort-wise, this is gonna feel much more like a residential toilet. It's a standard height, and the elongated bowl is gonna be more like home. This is made from Italian ceramic, and this is gonna give you more room and better support compared to many compact RV toilets. The seat and the lid are polypropylene, so very durable, it's gonna look sharp, it's gonna hold up really well for you. Again, everything is gonna remind you of what you have at home. I do want to point out, this does not have the slow, soft close feature, so if you let it go, it's going to slam shut just like what you have at home. So, just wanted you to be aware of that. Cleaning's gonna be pretty simple too. The ceramic bowl has a glossy, non-porous surface that's gonna resist stain, it's gonna wipe down easily, so you won't be scrubbing as much or dealing with lingering odors. So this is a modern, clog-resistant, water-saving RV toilet that's going to give you home-style comfort without adding extra maintenance or headaches.
