Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at our Sika Activator-205. Now folks, this is a cleaner/solvent base adhesion promotion designed for use on those non-porous materials before applying your SikaFlex or SikaSeal products. So what this is gonna do is you're gonna be using this to clean off before you bond onto metal, plastic, ceramic screen prints, and even painted surfaces. And it has a fast flash off time, which is going to allow for surface preparation to be completed before you move on to your sealant or adhesive application.
So you're gonna use this before putting on your sealant if you're installing roof vents, ACs, interior paneling, whatever, lots of different uses for it before you're using those SikaSeal and Sikaflex sealants. So again, lots of different uses. It is a transparent colorless formula, so it's gonna apply without leaving any kind of visible color behind. This is a 250 milliliter size can, and as you can see, it's sealed up for safety. Always make sure you're wearing the proper protective equipment whenever you're using this as again, it is a solvent base material.
