So if you're looking for a simple way to keep a compartment or cabinet door securely closed, this magnetic catch set is going to do exactly that. The magnets, as you can see, are gonna hold together very well. They're gonna hold your doors shut during travel and everyday movement, helping to prevent them from swinging open when you don't want them to. But one of the nice features is going to be its flexibility.
These magnetic catches can attach to metal surfaces or be paired together, making them suitable for a variety of mounting situations. And because the magnets naturally pull together, you're not gonna have to worry about getting the alignment perfect every time. So the magnetic contacts are gonna help guide the catch into place and keep the door secured. Installation, as I'm sure you can imagine, is gonna be pretty straightforward since you're gonna get the mounting screws that you need. You're not gonna have to purchase any additional hardware or anything like that.
You are gonna get these two catches. And let me run through some measurements here real quick. It looks like just end to end. The overall height, we're sitting pretty close to two and 1/2 inches. The width about 3/4 of an inch, and the thickness about 1/2 inch.
