Well, this mattress has a thick, cushy layer of contouring memory foam that will conform to the natural shape of your body. Because of this, the material of this mattress corrects your sleeping posture and alignment. It also helps distribute your weight across the surface of the mattress, alleviating the pressure points of your shoulders, hips, and knees while you sleep. And the mattress bounces back to its original shape each day, which reduces long-term body impressions.
Memory foam also absorbs any movement on the surface of the mattress, reducing roll-together and motion transfer. That means when your partner gets up to use the restroom or while your child is tossing and turning, you'll still be able to sleep soundly. And unlike innerspring mattresses, this mattress won't produce any of those loud, annoying squeaking sounds when your child or a pet changes sleeping positions.

I know the mattress experience is very subjective. Everyone has different preferences when it comes to how firm or how soft the mattress is and what features they actually care about. And since you're not here to experience the mattress for yourself, hopefully this video will help share that experience with you. I'll try my very best. And we are gonna start at the very beginning of that experience where we get the mattress and we need to install it in the trailer. Now mattresses are large and bulky but fortunately when they arrive at your doorstep they're gonna be in the box and inside the box they're gonna be pre-compressed, rolled up and shrunk down.
So please make sure you get the mattress inside your trailer or inside your RV before unwrapping it because once you take that wrapping off it will expand into its position. So this is gonna make it a bit easier to maneuver but as small of a space it takes up, it's still gonna carry a lot of weight. So you may need a friend to help you out the first time. When you do get this into your RV, don't cut open the packaging. This is designed to be unrolled, the packaging that is.
If you cut it open, it'll explode outwards. If you peel off the shrink wrap though, that will make it easier for you to get set up on your bed. Once you unwrap your mattress, I do recommend just letting it sit for about 24 hours because that will give it the time to fully expand to its proper shape. And speaking of proper shapes, this is also really important to know what type of mattress size you are going to need for your motor home. This is a great example because the owner's of this motor home said they have a queen size mattress but as you can see here, there's definitely more platform width that this could fit.
And this sits too long. So a queen size mattress is 60 inches by 80 inches. What they actually need is an RV short king mattress and that's going to be 72 by 75 inches in space. After you figured out what type of mattress is the right fit for your trailer, the next question is, "What type of mattress is the right fit for you" And everyone has different levels of comfort, whether they want a foam mattress, a spring mattress, if you want it firm or plush. So let's talk about the Denver Supreme with a Euro Top mattress, which is what this is. We'll talk about the different features and that way you can decide for yourself if it is the right fit for how you wanna sleep. The Supreme with a Euro Top talks about the material. So we have seven inches of supportive foam core, two inches of memory foam core and then the Euro Top is gonna be your top two inch layer of that Euro Top material. So this is gonna be a foam mattress. Breaking down those components, the supportive foam core is there to support the mattress and make sure that it stays firm all throughout its lifetime. And then the memory foam that's there just to make it more comfortable. So it contours around your body as you sleep. It just helps relieve or those pressure points. And then the top is gonna be that Euro Top layer. So a lot of mattresses have a pillow top. This one with the Euro Top is there so it is more durable over a longer period of time. I personally prefer mattresses that have springs on the insides, and that's more of because where I sleep on the mattress. So with the foam you can see that if you're on the very edge that there is significant sag towards the end. But the memory foam is also designed to help prevent motion transfer. So look around like behind me and you can see that the mattress is still very level. So if you are sharing a bed with someone and someone sleeping on the other side and you like to move on this side, that memory foam is actually a good thing for the both of you because it doesn't move that sag over. Some other basic features are that this has square cut corners. That way you have maximum surface of your mattress and it's CFR 1633 fire regulation safety compliant. So that's just a safety code about how flammable or the amount of open flame a mattress generates or creates. So it does stay within that regulation. This has a knit cover that is soft and breathable. Now compared to like the luxe version, this is not a cooling material. So that's something to keep in mind for what it's made of. So that combination of that knit material for the cover as well as the memory foam that is inside the mattress makes for a mattress that's honestly ideal for the cooler months. If you're camping during the winter time or the late fall or in an area that gets kind of cold at night, that memory foam will be great because it's dense and helps retain that heat. But if it's gonna be during the summer months, I do recommend that if you do want this mattress because of what it's made of, maybe getting a mattress cover or mattress topper that has cooling properties, as well as making sure you use sheets that keep you cool and that will help out with that experience. We already heard about how I prefer mattresses with springs and I do like a more firm mattress. So I brought my friend Maddie here to talk about soft mattresses because that's the type of mattress you have, right Absolutely. Do you have like a foam mattress, something with springs Mine at home is currently right now. it's more of a memory foam type mattress. Okay. Yeah. So that kind of matches what this one is. Yep 'Cause it has like two inches of memory foam up top. So with that in mind, how do you feel about this type of mattress I actually really love this mattress here. This one feels like my bed at home. It's comfortable. I feel like I'm sleeping right on air. I toss and turn a lot. So that's why I don't prefer a hard mattress but that's just my opinion. This one feels absolutely great though. Okay. Do you use like a mattress topper A mattress protector I typically protect my mattresses at home just because I have pets but I don't ever put a mattress topper on. Gotcha. Just not needed. Okay, 'cause that's the thing with this one. It has like a knit cover, so you could kind of feel like there's a little bit of padding on top. So if you put a mattress topper you lose out on that foam experience. So that makes sense. You'll still be able to like enjoy the mattress plushness without adding to it. Anything else Like how about like the movement of the mattress Especially since you have pets Do you notice like the mattress move around when they move around I don't. I was gonna say, my pets definitely sleep in my beds with me. So if I get up and move in the middle of the night, I don't think I'd feel them at all. Okay, same thing for this, kind of same experience Yeah, no, absolutely. This right here, this would do a wonderful job. Awesome. Thanks, Maddie. Absolutely. I know it's not the same experience as if you're actually at the store sitting on the mattress and laying down on it but we did talk about different features of it and just comparing foam versus springs and understanding the different layers of foam for your Denver mattress. if I would compare it to anything, it would be the etrailer eDream, and that one has a plush side and a firm side. So this would be comparable to the plush side. And I actually prefer the Euro Top on this mattress more than that one because the plushness of eDream is so soft, it's like you're laying down on blankets versus the Euro Top where you do feel that softness but also it maintains a little bit of its firmness. But that's just me. Hopefully you're able to understand the different types of mattresses that you prefer and your body prefers because a mattress is just gonna be the foundation for a good night's sleep. The most important thing is finding the best fit for you so that you can have the best sleep.
