Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Thomas Payne swivel glider RV recliner with integrated footrest. Now this swivel glider chair reclines back so you can relax in your RV or camper and actually, I think this would be a good chair to use in your home as well, so you're not limited to just RV or camper use. And the base of this recliner is going to allow this chair to swivel a full 360 degrees, as you can see, and it does that very smoothly. And this chair, as you can see, also glides back and forth, which is my favorite feature of the chair. And I'm a big fan of rocking recliner chairs.
And even though this isn't a rocker, this is a glider. I'm very impressed with this smooth operation. It's a very comfortable chair. And so I think this is going to, if you're looking for a really comfortable glider, this is gonna be a real good option for you to consider. Now I want to give you a view of the base.
And so on your screen, I am including a photo of that base. And this does have a lever here on the right hand side. And I'll give you a closeup view of this in the next minute or so. And this lever here is going to allow you to activate the integrated footrest so you can prop up your feet and recline back. So let me go ahead and pull that lever and just show you, there's my footrest, and it comes out nice and smooth.
And then the back also reclines. And so let just give you the show you just how far back this is gonna go. And so as you can see, this is gonna be allow you to lay back quite a distance back and allow you to get really nice and comfortable. This is gonna be great for taking a nap, watching TV or a movie. And if I'm not careful here, I'm going to fall asleep.
So I wanted to point out that to get your footrest back down, of course you wanna make sure that your recliner is back in the upright position and then you're going to use the back of your legs to give it a firm kick back, just like that. And then the footrest is back in place. Now let me go ahead and stand up and go over some of the features of this chair and give you a closer look at it. Now everything of course, in this chair, as you would expect, is padded. You've got a really nice padded seat. And of course, the backrest is very plush and padded and comfortable. The footrest is very comfortable. And of course, it's padded as well, as well as the armrest. So this chair just really speaks of ultimate comfort and it does a really good job in doing that. Now, I did want to show you that this does include a wired remote control, and I have it here in the side pocket. And this remote, this has a remote controlled heated seat that is going to keep you warm. So as you can see here on the remote, we have our off and on functions and our low and high, and then the indicator light, letting you know that it's on. And I tested the heated seat function before our time together. And you definitely do feel the heat. I would say it's not as strong as a heated seat that you would have maybe in your car, but it is there. And that is a feature that this chair does provide if that is something that you are interested in. It does come with a power adapter as well that you'll plug into an outlet near the chair, and that's where you will plug in that power adapter. Now, I mentioned that this does include a pocket, and that's where I put the remote control at. And this has an elastic top here on the pocket. So that's going to allow you to put in other remotes, maybe a smaller magazine or a book that you're reading even like a small iPad or something like that. So that's a nice added benefit that this chair provides. Now this chair features a PolyHyde vinyl upholstery. And let me give you a closeup view here at the top just so you can have a better view of this material. And this PolyHyde vinyl has a polymer coating on it that looks and feels like leather. And the first time I saw this chair, that's exactly what I thought it was. I thought it was actually real leather. But this is going to be low maintenance material. It's going to be very easy to clean up. Like if you maybe spilled a little bit of coffee on the armrest or maybe you need to clean up after a pet or a child. This is going to be in no way difficult to clean up. It's going to clean up real well, and it's going to wear real well. Now, another thing I wanted to show you while we're close up here is this has a very simple yet high contrast stitching. It's going to really give it a nice stylish look again, given it that that leather look, and it's probably hard to see, but the color of this material, it's identified as a Sierra Montana, which really doesn't tell you anything about the color. But I asked some coworkers about what they thought, how they would describe this color. And it's just a really dark brown, it's almost on the verge of being a black color. That's how dark the brown is. But it's a dark brown just to kind of give you an idea as to what to expect. And that stitching is, is kind of like a beige to contrast that Sierra Montana color. Now, the interior of this recliner is made up of high density foam components. So it is gonna be very durable, very solid. And it is, it does have a good weight to it. It is relatively heavy. I needed help getting it into the studio. It has very little assembly required. You're gonna receive it in two parts. The base is gonna be separated from the back, and all you need to do is slide that back into the base, plug in the adapter and the remote. And basically you're gonna be good to go. Some overall measurements in case you we're interested, I went ahead and measured this earlier before our time together, beginning at the overall width here at the widest point. And I think that's right where the arms would be from end to end. We we're sitting at about 32 inches wide. And then the overall depth from front to back, we're sitting at about 31 inches deep. And then the overall height from the floor that it's sitting on all the way to the highest point right up here, I measured about 40 inches tall. So hopefully that gives you a good idea of the size. But overall, I really like the chair. And like I said, I don't think it has to be limited to RV or camper use. It's very comfortable. I love how it glides very smoothly. So if you, if this meets the specifications that you're looking for, I think this is going to be a really good chair for you to consider. Well, that's going to wrap up our brief look today. The chair arrived in good time with the box pretty well beaten up. The chair inside, however, seemed to be fine. It's a beautiful chair, fits well and has wonderful lumbar support. So glad I opted to get this chair. Have used the heated seat/footrest function a couple of times on low already and it makes a very comfortable cozy chair and environment for resting. Love the rocker/swivel/glider portion of it and yet it is still easy to get in and out of. Since I've had it less than 24 hours, this is just an initial impression. Long term use and durability is yet to be determined.

Shipping carton was damaged, however chair was in excellent shape. Shipping carton is just cardboard without any protective lining, like Styrofoam. No instructions provided with info on how to install the back of the chair, or if there are locking features for the glider when your on the road in your motor home or 5th wheel. Chair is very comfortable, great finish work and I highly recommend it. Service provided by etrailer.com was outstanding.
I bought this to replace the Thomas Payne recliner that came with my fifth wheel. While it's comfortable, is not as good as the original one. The recliner is higher, about 3", smaller seat and, stiffer arms and seat. Also seems built for a shorter person, I'm 6'. One other thing the covering is a little redder than the pictures online. The product was delivered in damaged box, but it was not damaged.
Chair was everything it was touted to be. Perfect size for a small space. Quality seems good-very comfortable and the heater is a plus. Had bigger overstuffed chairs in the past but this far exceeds their comfort.
Had a small issue with one of the wires to the heater but customer service resolved the issue and were concerned that all my expectations were satisfied. Service was exemplary! I would deal with them in the future and recommend them highly.
The chair is very nice and comfortable. It also matched perfectly with the couch that was in our fifth wheel. I would not recommend the chair to taller, larger men. It fits me well, but I am only 5’3.
Fast shipping. Arrived undamaged. Chair is not very comfortable. Heat works. Chair tends to turn in a circle even when you’re sitting in it. Could be a haunted chair???? Quality is good but I would never buy a recliner again without first sitting in it.
My new chair is great. Fits perfectly in the same spot as my old recliner. It was easy to assemble and is comfortable, soft leather and heated. I am where it snows in the winter and the heated seat will be a huge plus to my comfort.

Very comfortable chairs and beautiful. They are a lighter brown than the other furniture we have in our Jayco and the stitching is almost white, so they don't match, but we're OK with that.
