Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this replacement hawse fairlead for the ComeUp UW-5000si and the DV-4500si trailer winches. This part will replace the hawse fairlead on your ComeUp winch. It fits, as we mentioned, the UW-5000si and the DV-4500si trailer winches. Now, this is an aluminum construction.
Has a nice matte black finish, anodized finish to resist corrosion. And you can see it has the nice rounded fairlead hole that'll help prevent friction and damage to your synthetic rope. When your rope comes through here, if it gets pulled at an angle, there's no sharp edges that could damage the rope. Same at the the top and the bottom. You can see it has a nice large throat radius that'll limit stress on the synthetic rope.
The throat size, if we put a ruler on it, widthwise is gonna be right at 2 3/4 inches. Height is right about 3/4 inches. Does come with the stainless steel mounting hardware to install this. And the mounting hole dimension, you can see there's four mounting holes right here. If we measure those horizontally, center to center is 4 1/4 inches horizontally.
And vertically, center to center is 1 7/8 inches. Now, one note I do wanna mention is that this hawse fairlead does not mount directly to the winch. It'll typically attach to the tabs on the winch mounting plate. Mounting plates we do sell separately. Sometimes they will come with the winch themselves.
And then most aftermarket mounts will include these tabs. But that should do it for the review on the replacement hawse fairlead for the ComeUp UW-5000si and the DV-4500si trailer winches..
