Hello, neighbor, Steve here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking together at our Erickson Ramp Safety Cinch Strap. This guy is one inch wide by five feet long, and it's got a safe working load limit of 250 pounds. So, folks, again, this strap is designed to be used for keeping your ramps in position to help hold them in place while you load or unload wheeled equipment. Now, a lot of people don't realize, but yes, your ramp cans slip off whatever you're trying to load them against, usually a trailer or the back of a truck sometimes, depending on what you're loading. But pretty simply, this strap is a cinch strap.
Again, it's spring-loaded here. You can pull the strap tighter or looser with that spring pushed down. When it comes back down, it's super, super tight. That's not going nowhere, either direction, and they give you a full five feet long on this safety strap. So, what you would do is, there is a loop on this other end down here, and what you'll do is you'll take this loop, you'll put it through probably one of the rungs of your ramp, you'll put the hook through it and you'll pull everything down tight to where it's inside the ramp.
You'll hook this on the trailer side or truck side, and then cinch it tight, essentially holding that ramp tight against the truck or trailer so it can't slip out on you while you're loading your stuff safely. It's been vinyl-coated and the S-hook itself is vinyl-coated as well, so it's not gonna rust or corrode on you and that kinda stuff. This hook overall is about four inches long and it has a one inch internal size there where my finger's at, right between here, and it's gonna be great, again, for holding that ramp into place. Well, folks, let's gonna wrap it up for a quick look at this Erickson Safety Cinch for Ramps. Again, perfect for six to eight foot long ramps, either aluminum or steel, with the open side rail gaps, again, to be able to loop that strap through.
I'm Steven, thanks for watching and have a great day.
