A. Recommended for customized street cars and import engines, this muffler's stainless steel, high-flow tuning tube runs straight through from the inlet to the tip, allowing the exhaust to pass through without restriction. It contains no baffles, chambers or louvers that would restrict airflow. When air flows unimpeded through the exhaust system, horsepower, torque and fuel efficiency increase. All these factors lead to improved engine performance.

B. and C. To regulate loud exhaust noise, tightly packed layers of stainless steel mesh (B) and acoustic fiber (C) insulate the tuning tube. These materials absorb sound waves, shield high temperatures and prevent hazardous blowouts. The resulting tone is a smooth, deep growl, specific to MagnaFlow.

D. The inlets and tips are lap-joint welded to the muffler body for durable construction that eliminates distortion and cracking.
