Your sewer hose can come up just short when the dump inlet sits out of reach. This 2' extension twists onto a standard 3" lug fitting, and its swivel lug rotates so the hose lays flat while you empty the tanks.
When the sewer inlet sits just beyond your main hose, a short extension can save you from repositioning or stretching your setup. This extension adds 2' of length to your RV sewer hose, giving the line enough room to reach the sewer inlet while you're emptying your holding tanks. It keeps the connection layout simple when the gap is small but still matters.
Dumping gets messy fast if a hose connection shifts while your tanks are draining. The bayonet fitting twists onto the standard 3" lug fitting on your RV's waste valve, and the internal seal helps prevent leaking at the connection point. Once it's attached, your hose setup stays connected through the dump process.
Short hose sections can be annoying when the fittings force the hose into a twist before everything is lined up. The swivel lug fitting rotates to eliminate twisting and hooks up to the bayonet fitting on your existing sewer hose. Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look together today at the Lippert RV sewer hose extension. This is gonna extend your hose by two feet of length, and then you're gonna be able to reach the sewer inlet when you're emptying those holding tanks. So this is gonna be a great add-on to your already fit. As you can see, if it crinks down, it goes flat, it'll go right back to shape.
Now the reason it's going flat like that is because I don't have it open, so obviously the air and everything's getting trapped in there. So now you can see it easily open and closes. I can snake this to wherever I need to. I do have those bayonet lug fittings on the one side, and then on the opposite side, you have the matching lugs for the other cap. So again, folks, pretty basic stuff.
