Cool-colored light - especially that with a high color temperature - promotes driver alertness, as opposed to warm-colored light, which promotes relaxation. Color temperature is based on chromaticity, which refers to the quality of a color rather than its luminance. A bulb with a color temperature greater than 5,000 kelvin will produce cool-colored light, whereas a bulb with a color temperature between 2,700 and 3,000 kelvin will produce warm-colored light. Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the CIPA EVO Formance Alfas, maximum intensity 9,005 halogen headlight bulbs in the white color. It's for a quantity of two bulbs. Now this part will include the two 9,005 headlight bulbs and they also include two with the 194 T10 wedge bulbs. Now these 9,005 halogen bulbs will replace your vehicle's factory headlight bulbs to improve brightness and increased visibility. The maximum intensity on these bulbs are super bright and it gives us a nice crisp white light which provides unique look compared to the yellowish color of your standard bulbs.
These do have a high color temperature which improves visibility, promotes driver awareness. Color temperature on these is 4,300 kelvin. The brightness level will meet or exceed that of the OEM bulbs, but also maintains a safe temperature. The brightness is 1,850 lumens. This will not damage your car's electrical components.
Now these are a nice high quality construction. They'll yield long lasting and dependable bulbs. These are a fast and easy installation you can see right here, comes with the plug. You just plug these into your vehicle's existing head lamp sockets. One note I do wanna mention on halogen bulbs you do not want to touch the bulb itself with your bare hands, cause what'll happen is the oil on your skin could go to the bulb and could cause failure of that bulb when it heats up.
So what we do recommend is any time you're handling halogen bulbs you should wear gloves when trying to install them. And again, it does come with the two replacement light 194 T10 wedge bulbs. These are off-road use only, they do not meet the department of transportation specifications. Again, these are the 9,005 bulbs. The bulb life on these is 800 hours and the wattage is 85 watts at 12 volts.

As far as the product I'm unsure at this point. I'm going to wait until the temperature is at least above 20 degrees.
The company in general, by far the quickest to ship out. I ordered the product I think on a Saturday and received it on the following Wednesday. And that was the economy shipping. I could only imagine when I would have got the delivery if I had chosen one of the more expensive options.
Pricing, probably average or better. I done a lot of research before I placed the order and this company beat any other price I could find.
Lastly, the description was the best of any site as well. Very informative. Now I just can't wait to install the product. If I'm invited to share how well the performance is I will. But I am expecting total satisfaction or better

UPDATE: I posted once before only being able to comment on the speedy shipping of the purchase I made. Now that I have the product installed I can comment on that as well. The purchase was absolutely a 110 benefit. The bulbs I replaced were the OEM bulbs that came with the car or some after market replacement bulbs. I was well informed on the packaging from the manufacture that the bulbs were intended for off road use only but I absolutely couldnt see with the low output of the OEM equipment. I havent had anyone flash their high beams at me yet while driving at night so I dont think Ill have any legal trouble. But all legal matters aside the bulbs are without a doubt the best lights Ive ever had on a vehicle in my life. And to my surprise, they didnt cost anywhere near what the high priced Sylvania high output bulbs would have cost. For anyone that has trouble seeing while driving at night, which I do a lot of, I HIGHLY recommend they give these a try. I now have several friends that are going to order these exact sets for their vehicles as well. And etrailer.com has the most reasonable pricing I could find anywhere online. Once I received the bulbs I realized I had much more work to do the theheadlight housings themselves. My car is a 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII. Theyare notorious for having poor lighting from the factory. After lookingcloser to mine I found that the reflective coating was nearlycompletely gone on the low beam side. I had to cut the lenses off oneach housing and resurface the back with mirrored heat resistant tape.I also buffed the lenses them selves. Once I welded the housings andthe lenses back together I put the bulbs in. It was a definite 200improvement. I think Im still going to build myself a wiring harnessto get maximum voltage to the bulbs. Ill also wire it so all fourbulbs will be illuminated when on high beams.In all the bulbs themselves Im very satisfied with. Even though usingthem as driving lights Im most likely not legal. But I feel much saferbeing able to see when driving at night.Thanks for your email to follow up on my purchase. If I can help in anyway let me know. Im a fairly tech savvy person when it comes to fixingproblems like my headlights.
This headlight bulbs are awesome. I installed these as a replacement for my 08 Toyota Tundra OEM bulbs and their performance is excellent. Bright white light. Happy to have it.

They are still has bright as they were when I first put them in.
These bulbs are nice and bright, 9005 high beam really lights it up great. I have not had any problems with the high beam bulbs at all. It's been about a years time since purchase. But the H11 low beams sometimes one bulb will kick down about half the brightness then later come back. I checked connection and that was not the issue. Overall, for a performance bulb it has lasted the longest yet of any I have purchased.
Product is as expected, but customer service was well beyond what I expected. I made a mistake with my initial order, so had to interface with etrailer staff to fix the problem. They were happy, helpful, and I received what I needed despite my own mistake with little hassle. Customer service will keep me coming back.

Still Strong , best lights Ever

I have a 2007 Toyota Camry That takes 9005 bulbs however these do not fit.

After installing these headlight bulbs they made a real difference in seeing farther with whiter light and less eye strain
Yes the light is brighter and whiter but the part I liked the best was the extensions on the back of bulbs. No scraped knuckles trying to get into tight spot and make the connection, these were crazy easy to install because of the extension off the back of the bulb. I will post a couple photos with the drivers side (white) vs passenger side (yellow)
YMMV. I put the first bulb in our 2008 TrailBlazer (driver's side) and was not impressed with the light: compared to the stock bulb, it was whiter, but the "hot spot" was smaller (although it was definitely whiter). On the driver's side of my 2004 Accord, it was awesome: bigger, whiter hot spot! I put the other 2 bulbs in and found the Accord passenger side to be whiter, but noticeably dimmer than the driver's side, and not a larger hot spot. Pass. side of TrailBlazer looked great, with bigger hot spot, and more, and whiter light. But, the bulk of the harness adapters make rear covers tough to go back on on the TrailBlazer, (which is actually used to seal the back of the reflectors from getting crap in there). No issues with harness on the Accord. So, I'm unsure if a bulb or two are defective or what the reason is that 2 look better and 2 don't.
Good product, definitely unique. I like the bright light and and think it looks better than HID kits which are a dime a dozen on the road. Gives your vehicle some class. More powerful and better visibility than typical halogen upgrade bulbs. I would buy these again.
The staff at etrailer.com were extremely courteous and kept me notified when this product was temporarily unavailable. I hope to do business with them again.
For the price, you're getting a modest improvement over OEM bulbs. They are also a bit cooler in color than expected. Don't expect HID intensity here, just better than ordinary. A snap to install, I like the pigtail connectors. No problems with errant glare bothering on coming traffic. I'd recommend them for budget minded motorists, a reasonable upgrade.
