Each side bar bolts directly to the vertical uprights of the JayBar rack using existing mounting points. The bars install along the sides of the rack and create additional mounting locations that are separate from the crossbars.
Side bars are sold as a pair, but one set isn't always enough. As more accessories are added, available side mounting space can fill up. Adding another set increases the total number of side mounting locations available.
