Replace-A-Top attaches over your Jeep's factory-original bow support hardware to replace an aging or damaged soft top. The black twill fabric is an upgrade from sailcloth, denim, or vinyl. And heavy-duty zippers make it easy to install and remove the tinted windows.

Black Twill Material

This top is constructed of 3-layer black twill material. The premium fabric has durable, 30-oz acrylic facing, and it is more flexible and wrinkle-resistant than sailcloth. When compared to denim and vinyl tops, this twill fabric reduces road noise by 50 percent, giving you a quieter ride. And it's less susceptible to damage from heat, cold, mold, and mildew.

Zip-Out Windows

DOT-compliant side and rear vinyl windows can be easily attached and removed with heavy-duty YKK zippers.

Installation

This soft top fabric is designed to fit over your existing soft top hardware. To install, raise the bow assembly and attach the top to your vehicle using Bestop's Belt-Rail channel mount system for a snug fit.

Reinforcements ensure a tight fit at rear corners to reduce wind noise.

2012 Jeep Wrangler

I recently needed to replace my soft top for my 2001 Jeep Wrangler as one of my back panels and my rear panel had been vandalized. I was able to get a whole new top for $200 less than what the dealership was going to charge for 2 panels. I was a bit concerned that the quality might be lacking in the face of the extreme cost savings. I was completely wrong. I am more than satisfied with my new top. It was also incredibly easy to install. Just follow the simple and clear instructions and you will have your new top on in about an hour. My Jeep is about 12 years old but feels brand new with my beautiful new top!

Hi Joanna, I have just purchased a 2006 Wrangler, Identical to yours. When i installed the soft top, once again identical to yours, it looks like it is missing parts. Can you tell me if you have a parts that go around the doors. When mine is on, there is a big gap around the doors. This is my first jeep and i have nothing to compare with. Thanks

The Replace-a-Tops require all the factory original soft-top hardware. If yours came with only the hard top, you might need some additional hardware. I will let Joanna know about your questions, so keep an eye here in case she writes back.

Hi Marc,Hmmm...I dont notice any gaps around my doors. If it is helpful, when I received the top it only consisted of the soft top and three panels. There were no additional parts. It was really just a matter of attaching things to the skeleton framework that was already there. Im not sure how else to be helpful. I would load up a close up picture of the doors but Im not sure how to do that here.

1996 Geo Tracker

The Top fit like a glove, made exactly right, simple to follow directions in English with pics. These peoples at etrailer are by far the best at making sure me the customer is happy with the product. 2003 Jeep Wrangler

Sunday afternoon. I ordered my new top from etrailer.com on a wednesday and had it delivered that Friday with no additional cost to me! The bestop was easy to install with directions that were even easier to follow and I only needed a little help from my Dad! Haha! Each window had paper between them to prevent scratches. A screwdriver was the only tool needed. My 13 yr old daughter and I put it on. The instructions were very good. Looks great! I love having the tinted windows! Normal Jeep wind noise, but better than I had! Highly recommended!

The top fit and looked very good. I did have to relocate about eight of the original base snaps on the vehicle. I did not realize the door skins were in fact door skins when I ordered. The door skins fit like a shower cap, just scrunchy around the door frame with no weather strip like the original. I opted to leave the original skins on this project because of their good condition even though they were original 1984's. I would have spent more money to get original equivalent door skins. With that said the top is as original and fits and looks super! Thank you for quick service, a telephone number for human help and great follow up. Will shop with etrailer again.
