Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our very own etrailer hydraulic jack with the integrated counterbalance valve. Now this is considered a right leg square two bolt-on jack rated at 12,000 pounds. Now again, it's a right side or street side jack leg. It's gonna work with your existing hydraulic setup, so you're gonna need a hydraulic pump and power unit E43VV, and a left, or curbside leg, E83VV sold separately if you don't already have them.
Now, this is gonna work great with units offering up to 3,200 PSI extension and 1,500 PSI retraction pressure. Now, it has a built-in integrated counterbalance valve that's gonna eliminate drift and retraction. Right here is where you'd hook up all your hydraulic lines. I'll just twist one of these off for you to see, and the other one twists off as well. Now, these are great for seasonal trailers and again, that counterbalance valve eliminates drift and retraction.
This will give you a smooth and effortless operation, even for those heavy loads. And the foot pad down there, I've got wedges in it to keep it from falling over, 'cause this is really super heavy. But this can actually pivot like so, if I we inchesre to take those wedges out, and it can pivot pretty far both ways. So it does have that pivoting foot pad. That foot pad is a 10-inch by 10-inch foot pad.
It's gonna be great for stabilizing you on uneven surfaces. The design here is a square tube design. These mounting plates here and here, these are seven and a half inches long by four inches tall. Now, the lift capacity is 12,000 pounds, while the support capacity is 15,000 pounds. Now, the jack screw that's inside here, making it go up and down, that has a screw travel of 24 and one quarter inches.
As you can see, it's got a nice, durable black powder coat finish all the way around. It's gonna give you great corrosion protection, resistance, those kinda things. And it is an easy bolt-on application with those mounting plates as well. Well folks, I think that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together at this etrailer hydraulic jack. I'm Steven. Very poor package not all parts came with it savers and bolts all lose in box
The jack shipped quickly, but the packaging was inadequate, leaving it vulnerable during transit. The main issue is the misleading claim about the counterbalance valve. It only prevents drift when extended, not during transit, which is a key safety concern. A proper counterbalance valve should lock in both directions. I plan to test it further and hope to make it work with modifications, but buyers should know the limitations upfront. For the low price, it’s worth trying to salvage.

The product itself is good this is my second Ram jack. Unfortunately like others I received the package severely damaged.
Love the jack, but, it came without a box. Only a piece of it was left. Some parts missing because box was non existent.
Very Good Product Works Very Well, The Guys at ETRAILER WERE VERY PROMPT AND PROFFESSIONAL. The Only Gripe I have is the Shipping package by the time it got to me the cardboard packaging was tour all to h***LL. I was worried that the fittings were broke off, But they were OK. Other than that COMPLETLY SATISFIED.

The jack is great. The lightweight shipping box is a disaster. Thankfully the jack wasn’t destroyed when it arrived, only the cardboard box was torn into shreds and no instructions were to be found. Also, check e-trailer’s pricing. I watched the price change in the web site literally every time I looked it up, sometimes changing twice daily. There was a $[xx] price swing between when I bought it, and the dozens of times I checked price before purchasing.
Item shipped super fast and was heavy built and was actually heavier built than oem jack. Thanks a lot for the great service.
