Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Fill Rite 12-volt, 20-gallon per Minute Fuel Transfer Pump. Now this is a 12-volt DC fuel transfer pump that's built for both convenience and durability, especially if you're fueling equipment while you're out in the field. It runs off a standard 12-volt battery, like what you would have on a truck, and it comes with 18-feet of 12-gauge power wire and a five-foot of ground wire. So you're gonna have plenty of length to work with when you're wiring this up.
The pump itself is constructed of cast iron, which makes it really tough and able to handle those harsher environments without wearing down quickly. Inside it uses a rotary vein pump technology, which is known for being reliable and maintaining a steady flow rate. Speaking of flow rate, it can move fuel at up to 20 gallons per minute. That's about 75 liters per minute, making it a great fit for tanks in the 20 to 80-gallon range. This also has a thermal protected motor, so if it starts to overheat, it's gonna shut itself off to prevent damage.
Along with that, this is designed for a 30-minute duty cycle, so 30 minutes on, then 30 minutes off to help keep everything running smoothly for the long-term. The maximum operating pressure is 16 PSI. Now installation is pretty flexible and straightforward. The electrical junction box here can rotate 180 degrees so you can position the wiring however works best for your setup. This is going to mount on a standard two-inch bung, which is common on most fuel tanks, and it has a one-inch female inlet and outlet connections.
And then if you notice here on the side of my table, this does include this telescoping steel suction pipe and this is gonna be able to adjust from about 20 inches to 34 and 1/2 inches. So it's gonna be able to fit a wide variety of tank depths. As far as what's included, we talked about the wiring that's included, but you're also going to get this 12-foot long, one-inch in diameter hose and the hose has a built-in static ground wire and that's for safety. And then you're also going to get this nozzle here. And if you notice the nozzle has a green cover on it to indicate diesel use.
And so this is going to be a great addition. You're also going to get this nozzle boot that's going to attach directly to the body of the pump as you can see here. And this is obviously how you activate the pump and then deactivate it. And then as you saw, the nozzle will just sit right in there. Obviously, you'll connect the hose from the nozzle to the pump body itself. So in terms of compatibility, it's pretty flexible. This is gonna work with diesel, gasoline, ethanol blends up to E15, biodiesel up to B20, kerosene and even mineral spirits. So it's not limited to just one type of fuel. However, since you are using this with a green cover on the nozzle, you will wanna stick with diesel obviously because this is gonna be a clear indication that you are using this for diesel. The pump has a built-in mesh strainer that's gonna help filter out those larger particles and contaminants before they get into the pump or your equipment. That's gonna of course give you an extra layer of protection. Lemme give you some measurements here just to give you a good idea of the size. Looking at the overall length and I'm including the nozzle boot here, we're sitting at about 13 and 3/4 inches long. The height is about 11 and 1/4 inches tall. And then the width, and I'm not including the nozzle, but I am including the nozzle boot, we're sitting at about 10 and 7/8th inches wide. So it's compact enough to mount without taking up too much space, but still built solid. But overall, this is a heavy duty, well-rounded fuel transfer pump. It's gonna be pretty straightforward to install. It's gonna be built to last and powerful enough for most small to mid-size fueling jobs, whether you're out on the farm, job site or for personal equipment. Now, if you would like help with getting this installed, we have you covered on that front as well. On this product page, typically underneath the Photo section, we have a link that will take you to our Installer Locator.
