How's it going everyone Today we are gonna be taking a look at the WeatherTech front auto floor mats for our 2021 Kia K5. These are going to be the high wall design. They're gonna be a great way to keep the interior of your car a little bit cleaner, so let's get them in and see how they work. Before we get them in, I just wanted to point out these anti-skid nibs here on the backside. These in conjunction with the holes there for our anchor points are gonna do a great job of keeping these firmly in place. With our factory mats removed, it's just a matter of getting our passenger side mat in place.
It's the one we're gonna start with at least, and then getting this back point into the anchor point can be a little bit difficult, just lining it up and coming in at the proper angle. So there we go. We see it through there. Just kind of guide it forward until we do get it onto that anchor point. Our driver's side, the process is gonna be just about the same thing.
So I'm gonna start by getting up and underneath the pedals first. Down here we have two anchor points this time, so as long as you line one of them up first, it shouldn't be too terribly difficult to get the other one aligned as well. So there's the one and we see the other one poking through down there, and there's the second one. From here, we can take a closer look at the overall fit. So we do have that high well design.
It does a pretty good job of staying true to all of our contours here. There's a little bit of a gap here, but that's not enough where I'm gonna say that it's not just memory from these being stored in the box. So give them a little bit, let them get some heat, let them expand and form to the inside. I think overall they do fit really well. We have a good amount of room up and underneath the pedals back here as well.
In addition to the high wall design, these grooves and channels where ridges are gonna do a great job of funneling any sort of liquid or dirt and debris up and away from your feet. It's gonna store them in channels and keep your feet raised above them so you're not just tracking that all around. And it's super easy to just collect all that stuff in one spot, towel dry it or vacuum it up if it's just some kind of debris. Now we'll take a look at our passenger side mat here. Kind of the same thing. On the interior, on the inside here we have that high wall and it does a really good job of contouring to the sides and up and under where our feet are gonna go. Kind of similar. We do have a little bit of a gap here on the side, but again, I kind of think that's just memory of the mats being stored in the box and I think that will warm up and spread out. So I think overall they do fit really well. Both mats are gonna be made of a durable rubberized thermoplastic material, which is gonna allow them to hold up really well against long-term use, whether you're getting in and out very often. This color, as you can see, is black, which I think matches the interior really well, but there are a couple of different color options available. You can check those options out here at etrailer. Overall, if you're looking for a quick, easy, and efficient way to keep the inside of your vehicle a little bit cleaner and you want to maybe just keep the value of your car nicer for longer or you just want to upgrade your floor mats, these are gonna be a great option.
