Video Transcript for Setting up the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats on your 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe

Hi there everyone. John here, and today on our 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe, we are going to be taking a look at our Weathertech front row floor liners here at etrailer. Now messes are going to happen, and if you have a new vehicle, you obviously don't want to get your morning coffee, spilled all over your nice new vehicle. Well that's why you need to get a pair of floor mats. And I recommend floor mats. No matter what, you at least have a pair, but if you're gonna go with one, you might as well go with one of the best.

And in my opinion, that is Weathertech. Weathertech, as you can see, it is custom fit. It fits our front driver's side almost perfectly. I can't see any parts where you can see a little bit in there. It contours to everything.

Along with that, you can see the walls of it go up top, and they make sure that you don't have any very large spills, or say you have your feet on the one side, you don't have to worry about it hitting against this fabric right here. Now let's take a closer look at what it's made of, and how it can help you through your day. This is gonna be made out of a thermoplastic. What that means is, it's going to be able to hold up to basically anything. You're not gonna have to worry about not just dirt and dust, but let's say you have grease and more acidic things that could eat through other types of rubbers and plastics.

You're not gonna have to worry about this. Along with that, you've got this nice contour design. You have multiple different layers. You got this first layer, and then this one. So that's going to keep large amounts of liquids and puddles from forming into one, and being a bigger mess later on.

Now considering this is a front row set of mats, you're going to get both your passenger and your driver's side, which is gonna be nice. Along with the fact, right over here on our passenger side, we're only going to have one of these little buttons it's going to fit in with your Tahoe. It's gonna have a little bit of a different design, but overall, it's going to contour the exact same as your driver's side. So let's actually show you how we put this in, to our Tahoe. So whenever you're wanting to actually put in your floor mat, you're gonna wanna make sure that your other carpet that comes with factory, or any that you've bought beforehand, is out, it's nice and clean, and you're ready to put it in. I also would throw it outside for a little bit, let it get warmed up, so you can put it in all nice. And as you can see, we have these little clips that will go right here. The red really helps figure out where you need to go with it. Maybe take a second, you'll hear a snap. And there we go. And it was pretty quick. Only took a little bit of time, and now you're gonna make sure that your fabric is going to be safe and secure. Now my final thoughts on the Weathertech is, no matter what, you're going to need some kind of protection for your floor. And then, the biggest point is, you need to get a floor mat, but what kind I recommend going with these Weathertech, because as you've seen, they're custom fit, they work really well, they're going to have grip, and they're going to stay where they need to stay, and keep things where they need to stay, which is not on your fabric.
