Keep the interior of your vehicle clean with this functional, custom floor mat. Rear floor mat has a rigid plastic core for durability, and its unique, rubberized outer shell grips carpeting while it channels and traps water and debris.
Features:
WeatherTech floor liners accurately and completely line the interior carpet of your vehicle, providing "absolute interior protection" for your car, truck, minivan or SUV. Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we'll be taking a look at our WeatherTech FloorLiner Mats right here inside of our 2022 Tesla Model Y. These are gonna be a great upgrade to your carpeted mats. A great way to keep the inside of your Tesla Model Y safe from all that dirt and ground you can bring in with your shoes. So this uses a combination of different materials.
So you have our race sidewalks, and we have groove. So that way, no matter what happens in your rear seats whether you drop your food you get puddled in there, you have snow melting. This is gonna help protect the interior of your Model Y. and then it makes it easy for you to clean out too. So this is gonna be made of HDTE material.
So that's High-Density Tri-Extruded material. And that's what gives us this nice feeling of sturdiness but also flexibility, which is helpful as you have these high walls to hatch the water but also a custom fit inside of your Model Y. So these have grooves inside of them and this is to help guide the water or whatever liquid you have as it pulls inside of the material. Yes, you do have those raised side walls, but this also helps out with keeping things contained before you can clean them. Now they're very shallow groups.
So honestly, it's more gonna go towards the inside of your vehicle than towards the middle of the mat but still helpful to keep things clean. This is super easy to switch out with your old mats. Let's take a look at that process. My recommendations, just leave your mats out in the sun for a little bit before you switch them out with your old ones. So we have our old ones here.
We'll take that out being careful not to get the dirt back on into the car. You're then gonna get your new mats and just fit them into your rear seat. You can see how this conforms around the grooves of your vehicle. So my personal thoughts about this FloorLiner is definitely upgrade to them once you get your vehicle. In fact, I gifted some floor mats to my sister when she got her new car just because you wanna make sure you protect your vehicle from that dirt, from that ground from the outside. You wanna be able to have those adventures without worrying about the dirt. So this is gonna be a great upgrade. Go ahead and check out our front mats as well. That way everything is nice and clean. Definitely not the best place for them to be floppy, Kelly. I put WeatherTech floor mats in my Silverado quite a few years ago, though a different style, and it did take a little bit for them to form themselves to fit perfectly. We get pretty hot in the summer hear in Missouri, so it wasn't too bad. Being winter now, it might take a little longer, but I think you will be happy with them in the long run. I definitely am with mine! ^___^ Are these just to get nicer ones than the factory mats or are you going to be getting muddy often? The factory ones in my Silverado were absolutely terrible so it was a huge upgrade for me.

Thanks for sharing the photo, that really helps. These are custom-fit mats, but with motorhomes like the Freedom Elite, there can be slight differences depending on the floor layout or trim level. Even though they’re listed to fit multiple models, Thor sometimes makes small changes around the passenger side footwell that can affect how that corner sits. What you’re seeing on that edge is usually from the mat not quite matching the contour of that specific floor shape. Sometimes letting the mat sit in the sun or a warm area can help it relax and settle a bit better, but if it’s still not lining up after that, it may just be a variation in that particular model. If you can share your exact Freedom Elite model, we can double check fitment and see if there’s a better option or confirm if that’s expected for your setup.

I had contacted WeatherTech. Can you please confirm if you have removed the carpeted floormats prior to installing them these floor mats?

The fit isn’t the best. And wish I had gotten the individual ones vs the one that covers the entire front floor. Outside of that they work great. They are dirty from snow and mud but they clean up great.

Its been about a year and the mat is doing its job as far as keeping the carpet looking new. My only complaint is the mat will not stay in place. It will slide very easy. Weather Tech sent some Velcro but it doesnt help in the movement. I have several strips on the underneath of the mat. This is all that Weather Tech offered as a fix. Dont know if I would purchase them again or not.
