The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we'll be taking a look at our WeatherTech FloorLiner Mats right here inside of our 2022 Tesla Model Y. These are gonna be a great upgrade to your carpeted mats. A great way to keep the inside of your Tesla Model Y safe from all that dirt and ground you can bring in with your shoes. So this uses a combination of different materials.
So you have our race sidewalks, and we have groove. So that way, no matter what happens in your rear seats whether you drop your food you get puddled in there, you have snow melting. This is gonna help protect the interior of your Model Y. and then it makes it easy for you to clean out too. So this is gonna be made of HDTE material.
So that's High-Density Tri-Extruded material. And that's what gives us this nice feeling of sturdiness but also flexibility, which is helpful as you have these high walls to hatch the water but also a custom fit inside of your Model Y. So these have grooves inside of them and this is to help guide the water or whatever liquid you have as it pulls inside of the material. Yes, you do have those raised side walls, but this also helps out with keeping things contained before you can clean them. Now they're very shallow groups.
So honestly, it's more gonna go towards the inside of your vehicle than towards the middle of the mat but still helpful to keep things clean. This is super easy to switch out with your old mats. Let's take a look at that process. My recommendations, just leave your mats out in the sun for a little bit before you switch them out with your old ones. So we have our old ones here.
We'll take that out being careful not to get the dirt back on into the car. You're then gonna get your new mats and just fit them into your rear seat. You can see how this conforms around the grooves of your vehicle. So my personal thoughts about this FloorLiner is definitely upgrade to them once you get your vehicle. In fact, I gifted some floor mats to my sister when she got her new car just because you wanna make sure you protect your vehicle from that dirt, from that ground from the outside.
